Job Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Examine full set of financial reports on monthly basis. Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly closing processes
- Evaluate financial data to ensure adherence to the budget, including preparing variance reports for management review
- Construct financial models to support decision-making processes related to budget allocation and spending
- Liaise with external auditors for year-end audits and support the preparation of annual tax computations and submissions
- Assess market expenses through the PR (Purchase Request), PO (Purchase Order) process, and control capital expenditures in the markets
- Track local regulatory policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately implemented across all financial processes on a periodic basis
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth integration and compliance with local tax regulations
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Min. of 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in financial software such as SAP, Blackline and Adaptive, or similar platforms
- Good Knowledge of financial regulations, industry best practices, and compliance standards affecting credit management and accounts payable

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic financial management, corporate trade finance, and international tax and audit compliance. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial reporting, ensuring regulatory adherence, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management and Reporting:
Lead and supervise the Finance and Accounts department,
managing all day-to-day financial and accounting activities.
- Prepare management accounts and consolidated financial
statements.
- Direct the development and oversight of budgets, including
creating budgetary controls and record-keeping systems.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide quarterly forecast
reporting to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
Corporate and Trade Finance:
Serve as the primary point of contact with banks to establish
trade facilities, including revolving loan facilities and property
term loans.
- Work with the operations team, traders, and bankers to manage
the issuance and negotiation of Letters of Credit and short-term
financing.
Compliance and Audit:
Lead all interactions with statutory and internal auditors to

with all relevant laws.
- Manage all filings and correspondence with regulatory bodies,
such as International Enterprise (IE) of Singapore, for programs

- Conduct due diligence and finalization of accounts for various
business entities.
Operational Leadership:
Create and implement organizational structures to enhance the
efficiency of financial functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all statutory dues and
returns.
- Supervise and check various filings as per the Companies Act.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Chartered Accountant
(CA).
Experience as a Company Secretary is a plus.
At least 11 years of progressive experience in finance leadership
and audit management.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate trade finance and financial
reporting.
Fluent in English, Bengali, and Hindi/Urdu.
