This is a patient facing role in a fast-growing ambulatory care group. This role involves patient management and physician support. You are expected to function independently and work well within a group of like-minded staff looking to deliver the best possible care to our patients.
The Role
- Ensure that the clinic is in working order prior to start of clinic shift.
- Ensure that opening balance of petty cash is accurate and working order of POS systems.
- Top up consumables in Doctor's/treatment room.
- Register patients and checking of eligibility with government and corporate benefits.
- Updating TPA benefits in CMS to ease post consult and payment process.
- Ensure that right medication, right dosing, right quantity and right administrative route is dispensed accurately to the right patient.
- Assist the clinician in minor procedures/Chaperoning.
- Perform minor procedures (e.g. ECG) and taking of patient's vitals and to update in CMS.
- Assist patients in making follow up appointments and scheduling of visits.
- Washing of medical devices and equipment's and performing sterilization (autoclave).
- Follow up on administrative tasks, scanning and sending of documents (referrals, labs, radiology) into the patient portal / clinic management system.
- Perform administrative duties such as daily fridge temperature recording, sharp box disposal and attendance tracking.
- Replenishment of medications and consumables as required.
- Closing of shift, including tallying of daily takings against payment mode.
- Perform timely claims (e.g. HSG, CHAS, Medisave, TPA).
- General housekeeping of the clinic.
- Attending to inbound enquiries from patients via various channels (WhatsApp, phone, e-mails).
- Follow up on administrative processes in a timely manner (benefits check and referrals).
- Tracking and releasing of patient reports.
- Liaise with vendors (e.g. laboratory and radiology) for collection of samples and receiving of reports.
- Ensure all medical devices are in working order daily.
- Other duties assigned by Deputy Clinic Manager/Clinic Manager/Cluster Clinic Manager and Clinic Head Physician.
The Person
- Able to work shifts and on weekends, evenings and Public Holidays. Split shifts may be needed.
- Cross deployment to neighboring clinics on an as-needed basis.
- Minimum GCE "N" levels.
- Training will be provided.
- Relevant experience in hospitality or healthcare industry is preferred.
- Ability to speak multiple languages will be advantageous.
- Team player, good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with various clinic management systems is a plus.
- Technology Savvy and computer-literate.
