Job Description
We are seeking a responsible and reliable Clinic Assistant to support daily operations. This role includes administrative, clinical and patient-facing duties to ensure smooth and efficient healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and manage calls and enquiries.
- Register patients, schedule appointments, and update records.
- Verify insurance/Medisave/CHAS claims and process billing.
- Maintain a tidy reception area.
- Assist doctors during consultations and minor procedures.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms.
- Maintain and update patient records in the clinic system.
- Monitor and restock medical supplies.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies and health regulations.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking patients.
- Comfortable working in a clinical environment, including exposure to blood.
- Reliable, responsible, and motivated to contribute to the clinic long-term.
- Prior experience in healthcare or GP clinic operations is an advantage.
- Residing in the West region is preferred for convenience.
Working Hours & Schedule
- Monday & Wednesday: 9.00am - 1.45pm, 2.30pm - 5.00pm, 6.30pm - 10.00pm
- Tuesday, Tuesday & Friday: 2.30pm - 5.00pm, 6.30pm - 10.00pm
- Saturday: 9.00am - 1.00pm
- Full-time, 5.5 days per week
- Night shirts included as part of regular work schedule
Salary: $2,000/month
Availability: Candidates who are able to start promptly are preferred

Working Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 8:30am to 1:00pm, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Thursday – 10:30am to 1:00pm, 2:00pm to 5:00pm
Friday – 8:30am to 1:00pm, 2:00pm to 7:00pm
Prior clinic experience is preferred as we’re looking for individuals who can confidently work independently and handle a wide range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Register patients under Private, CHAS or Medisave categories
Greet and assist patients professionally – including young children and elderly Mandarin-speaking patients
Support doctors during health screenings, minor surgical procedures, ECGs, etc.
Dispense and explain medications clearly under doctor supervision
Process payments and claims
Maintain clinic cleanliness and infection control
Work with initiative and integrity at all times
Remuneration & Progression:
Probation (3 months): $10–$15/hour depending on experience
Post-probation: Permanent position offered based on performance, with competitive salary and benefits package
