Do you have what it takes?

  • Min 10 years of relevant experience with an integrated portfolio and relevant case-studies for innovation and global Brands.
  • A track-record of great, influential creative work and solutions, excellent work in the area of innovation.
  • Background in advertising with experience at advertising agencies or other creative companies.
  • Great communication and presentation skills, able to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Able to lead and craft conceptual advertising executions from brief to production.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects at a time.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple colleagues and also to lead teams.
  • Ability to prioritize, curious about learning, and growth attitude with self-motivated, driven, strategic-minded and a great teammate.
  • Experience in making work for modern, preferably global, brands, with multichannel campaigns
  • Has experience with managing multiple stakeholders, in multi-cultural environments

Roles & Responsibilities

The Providore is seeking a visionary Cultural Creative Director to define and lead the brand's cultural, creative, and experiential strategy across Singapore and the region. This is a senior leadership role for a strategic thinker and cultural innovator who can fuse art, design, culinary lifestyle, and experiential storytelling to elevate The Providore's identity as a premier lifestyle brand.

You will be responsible for shaping the brand's creative vision, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and developing cultural and experiential initiatives that resonate across markets. This role requires a leader capable of influencing regional cultural and tourism strategies, building strategic partnerships, and positioning The Providore as a beacon of creativity, design, and culinary culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Creative Leadership: Define the long-term cultural and creative vision of The Providore, integrating brand, lifestyle, and customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Regional Cultural & Tourism Strategy: Lead initiatives that align with regional cultural trends, tourism development, and experiential storytelling to strengthen brand presence.
  • Brand Storytelling & Content Innovation: Oversee the creation of compelling narratives, campaigns, and multimedia content that celebrate the brand's heritage, craftsmanship, and lifestyle ethos.
  • Experiential Design & Activation: Conceptualize and implement immersive retail, café, and digital experiences that engage customers and elevate the brand.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with marketing, operations, product development, and external partners to ensure cohesive creative execution.
  • Trend Insight & Foresight: Continuously research global cultural, lifestyle, design, and culinary trends to ensure The Providore remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Team Development: Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing creative team, cultivating a culture of innovation, excellence, and experimentation.
  • Brand Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify and develop strategic collaborations with cultural institutions, artists, designers, and tourism stakeholders across the region.
Requirements
  • 10–15 years of senior-level experience in creative direction, cultural strategy, or brand leadership.
  • Proven experience leading regional cultural or tourism initiatives and developing high-impact experiential campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating innovation in brand storytelling, experiential design, and cultural engagement.
  • Deep understanding of lifestyle, culinary, design, and creative industries.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Track record of building and mentoring multidisciplinary creative teams.
  • Ability to operate at the intersection of creativity, culture, and commercial outcomes.
  • Experience in digital innovation, VR/AR experiential projects, or immersive media is a plus.
