Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine monitoring and spot checks of all the building facilities such as: central chiller system, cooling towers, pumps, AHU, compressors, BMS, plumbing and electrical system.
• Attend to all facility works and M&E installations as well as to co-ordinate with contractors on repair works.
• Provide support to production and assist in machine installations: power hook-up, CDA, vacuum and process cooling water, exhaust pipe and other set-up in the production floor.
• Perform in-house servicing of cooling towers, AHU, FCU, FFU, filter cleaning and replacement, strainers and other HVAC equipment.

Requirements:

• NITEC / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Facilities / CEE or equivalent with 1 year relevant experience.
• Entry level candidates are welcome
• Working knowledge in cleanroom environment is preferred
• Able to commit to rotating 12-hr day / night shift

• Manage new handler buy-off lifecycle including documentation, system updates, procedure standardization, matrix maintenance & change control
• Assess and improve handler capabilities to meet production and customer needs, including capability studies and new handler evaluations-provide daily progress updates
• Ensure handler compatibility with design rules through implementation and collaboration with engineering and NPI teams to minimize constraints
• Identify and resolve handler-related issues and contribute to process improvements

Conducting site surveys and visits to understand customer needs, existing infrastructure, and proposing home solutions for customers. The solution may comprise connectivity (e.g., wired, fibre, wireless), services (e.g., broadband, TV, voice, home automation, security services) that meet customer needs.

Conducting extensive testing on recently introduced equipment, products, and services.
Evaluating appeals made by partners regarding requests for repeated visits.
Providing periodic knowledge sharing to fellow field engineers on technology, upcoming trends, whitepapers, tips, and tricks on our services to strengthen field engineers’ knowledge (including partners).
Providing regular feedback on customer needs and behaviors.
Managing and inventorying company-issued equipment and assets, liaising with the store for periodic replenishment of equipment and devices.
Attending training, self-study, and undergoing any external certification required (e.g., fibre, work at height, electrical).
Sharing process gaps, non-productive procedures, or customer pain points.
Providing regular updates on job status, highlighting completed tasks, ongoing projects, and calling out any key challenges or obstacles that may impact project delivery or timelines.
Skills for Success:
Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Customer Service. Additional technical certifications are a plus.
Experience as a Field Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the home/office networking, telecommunications, or green technology industry.
Willingness to work on weekends or public holidays.
Good understanding of technical knowledge in data communication (wired, wireless), internet security, and home automation.
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, adapting to various work environments and customer requirements.
Valid Class 3 driving license.

Interpretation of internal and client requirements and performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
Operating complex mechanical testing equipment, maintaining accurate and systematic records and performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment and report writing, data interpretation and analysis
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline
Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous
An understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
