Teaching (80%)
Yoga Movement strives to develop the best teaching team in Asia. As part of this strategy, our brand promise ensures that no matter where in the world a YM class is delivered, it meets the brand standards and brand promise of a Yoga Movement class.
Teachers are expected to be well-versed in the YM class menu, and through internal trainings, be able to teach all class types. They will deliver each class type to brand, using class type guidelines in shaping their sequences, cues and pace of the class.
The Teaching team will also compile feedback given by clients and assist the Area Managers and Training & Academy Manager in ideating solutions for any areas of improvements.
Personal Development (10%)
We see teaching as a never-ending learning journey, and as such, look for our team members to pursue professional growth through attendance of training courses, internal and/or external. Teachers should endeavour to attend at least 3-4 internally scheduled trainings per year, alongside any other external trainings they choose to attend in their own time. These training courses will ensure that teachers are equipped to teach all class types at Yoga Movement, as well as develop additional knowledge of both hard and soft skills help to bolster their competencies as a teacher.
In addition, the class schedule regularly incorporates Specialty Classes to drive clients' interest and attendance. Teachers are encouraged to contribute at least 6 pop-up classes annually toward this schedule.
