Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Quality Control team in Group Compliance, with the following key responsibilities -
- Lead and/or execute reviews independently and efficiently, including review planning and key control evaluation and testing.
- Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of control processes, with a view to provide value-added recommendations to stakeholders for the identified areas of concern.
- Complete assigned reviews effectively and within the established timelines.
Job Requirements
- Degree qualification with at least 8 years of work experience, preferably in audit or compliance assurance in the banking and financial services industry.
- Demonstrate high level of initiative, pro-activeness and accountability.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive engagement with stakeholders and team members.
- Proficiency in the use of data analytics and visualisation tools would be preferred.
- Develop use cases for the implementation of data-driven continuous assurance to provide higher level of assurance.
- Perform continuous assurance on selected review areas and identify areas of improvement to ensure robustness.
- Ensure concise and clear review findings and reports are presented on a timely basis, and follow up on review findings to ensure proper resolution.
- Support the Team Lead in the preparation of periodic updates to the Group Compliance management.
- Participate in Group Compliance's strategic initiatives and projects as opportunities arise.
- Stay informed of the latest regulations and standards in the banking and financial services industry to ensure compliance and best practices.

- Conduct site inspections, audits, and tests to verify that mechanical installations and repairs adhere to design technical specifications, codes, and quality standards
- Ensure all mechanical work complies with relevant industry codes, project specifications, company policies, and contractual obligations
- Oversee critical mechanical activities including material inspection, installation, welding, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), pressure testing, and final alignment and pre-commissioning checks
