User Experience Centre (UXC) is a dynamic, multidisciplinary-teamed consultancy centre within Singapore Polytechnic (SP) dedicated to driving innovation through humanity-centred design and diverse collaboration opportunities for industry partners through consultancy projects and training programmes.

Reporting to the Centre Director, the appointee will be part of the team from Singapore Polytechnic's User Experience Centre. He/she will be able to lead and provide domain expertise in Design Thinking, User Experience Design and/or , to lead with respect to industry domain area in building and developing strategic engagements and partnerships with industry partners and lead consultancy project(s) with focus on physical and/or digital products and services; to mentor & train junior staff in area of specialisation and be proficient and competent in the design and/or creative domains.

  • Lead and coordinate with local and regional partners to bring in consultancy, project work, training workshop, continuing education training in short courses and programmes, business development and internationalization work with regional partners in ASEAN.
  • Lead and develop strategies with the team to grow Singapore Polytechnic as a thought leader in Design Thinking/Humanity-Centered Innovation regionally and in areas of Continuing Education. Able to plan for the team's future needs and operations.
  • Lead and coordinate with other centres/schools in business development efforts to bring in leads for inter-centre consultancy and project work.
