As a Unity Programming Intern, you will work closely with our development team to deliver high-quality applications for Android and iOS devices. Your primary responsibility will be to write polished, optimized, and well-documented code that meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

To achieve this goal, you will need to collaborate with our team members to identify project requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery. You will also be responsible for writing test cases to improve the stability of our codebase.

• Completed or currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Proficiency in C#.
• Familiar with Unity game engine basics.
• Familiar with basic game development cycle — having worked in a game development team, along with game designers and/or game artists.
• Candidates who possess any 2 of the following skills will be advantageous:
• Familiar with at least one database technology, such as MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.
• Familiar with at least one low-level language, such as C/C++.
• Experience participating in project development (systems, gameplay, tools, etc.).
• Proficiency with version control tools, such as SVN, Git.

Job scope
About your role
Lead Unity Developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical leadership in the development of interactive Unity applications for robotic simulations and visualization.
Collaborate closely with industrial designers, engineers, and robotic experts to oversee the design, development, and deployment of the Unity application that meet the unique needs of robotic applications.
Implement user interfaces and interactions from UI designers, ensuring they align with the specialized requirements of robotic contexts and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Utilize your deep understanding of Unity’s capabilities to develop accurate physics simulations and dynamic visualizations that authentically replicate robotic processes and equipment.
Drive the development & maintenance within the team that adheres to performance and scalability standards across various robotic platforms.
Take ownership of diagnosing and resolving technical challenges within Unity applications, optimizing performance, and ensuring high levels of stability and reliability.
Stay informed about advancements in Unity development trends, aligning the team’s work with industry best practices.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to meet product milestones and deliverables.
Lead code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and champion the continuous improvement of development practices.
Manage project timelines, allocate tasks, and ensure the team’s progress towards objectives while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
Extensive experience as a Unity Developer, including leadership or mentoring roles, with a strong focus on industrial applications, particularly in the field of robotics. Showcase this expertise through a portfolio of successful projects.
Proficiency in C# programming, object-oriented design, and software architecture principles.
Proven ability to adapt Unity’s physics, shaders, and animation systems to create accurate simulations of robotic actions.
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, for facilitating collaborative software development.
Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of thriving in dynamic, collaborative team environments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, explain complex technical concepts, and lead a small team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with coursework or experience in game development — or equivalent practical experience

Unity Pharmacists go beyond the boundaries of a dispensary. Aside from the professional aspects of dispensing and providing health and wellness for their patients, our Pharmacists are also the MANAGERS of the retail pharmacy business. They are involved in ensuring that the retail operations run smoothly, control operating costs and managing their own P&L. Above all, they are to provide the highest level of service to our customers. People management is important, as they will lead and oversee the Retail Assistants, Supervisors, Retail Executives as well as Pre-registration Pharmacists under their supervision.

Our pharmacists play a crucial role in our health and wellness business. They are given opportunities to participate in various professional portfolios and projects. As trained preceptors, they will mentor and train pre-registration pharmacists, NUS Pre-employment Clinical Training (PECT) students, polytechnic and ITE interns. They will also be involved in creating training programs on minor ailments, products and retail operations for our retail staff.
