Job Description:

The Junior System Engineer will provide operational support to our team and assist with various tasks such as system setup, equipment deployment, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT, computer science, or a related field, with experience in system administration or IT support.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in system administration or IT support.
• Fresh graduates with relevant certifications may also be considered.
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking qualification (preferred).
• Basic understanding of virtualization, cybersecurity concepts, firewalls, antivirus, etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist senior engineers with daily operational tasks.
2. Support users during cyber exercises and training sessions.
3. Perform routine O&S checks, system backups, OS patching, configuring IPs, VLANs, and vNICs for training environments.
4. Provision new servers and client VMs under guidance.
5. Document and report technical activities.

Job Title: System Administrator Position

• Perform routine system maintenance and administrative tasks.

• Administer and support AS/400 System i, including planning, implementation, and upgrades;
• Manage OS400 security, BRMS backup, operations monitoring, alerting, and data replication;
• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of 3rd party tools (e.g., MQ, Thenon, Windows Menu, Robot Schedule, Alert Console);
• Plan, review, and execute OS, PTF, and 3rd party software upgrades;
• Support PowerHA, Admin Domain, VIOS management, and copy services in an iASP environment;
• Troubleshoot data, application, and system performance issues using tools such as IBM iDoctor, DBMON Traces, and Job Watcher;
• Provide administration and operational support for IBM DS8K storage and SAN switches (including global and metro mirror);

Preferred Qualifications -
