To support the Quality Professional (QP) on site in supervising Builder's works according to local legislation and authority regulations.
Monitor progress and assist QP on structural inspection of all Builder's works according to approved drawings issued.
Supervise execution of works, maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specifications, approved drawings, other contract documents/drawings, and site instructions.
Assist QP in keeping records and reviewing materials, equipment at site, variation works, test reports, inspections, provisional quantities, dayworks, etc. Monitor schedules, observe, and comply with site safety of project contractors and submit reports to the QP.
Attend all site, progress, variation, and coordination meetings and keep minutes of these meetings relating to projects and other duties as directed by the QP from time to time.
Check shop drawings, samples, etc. submitted by project contractors.
Attend technical meetings, resolve public complaints, and attend site walks and safety meetings with consultants, owner reps, and authorities.
Provide full support and assistance to the QP in ensuring that their instructions are communicated effectively, and works are being carried out in accordance with instructions from time to time.
Assist QP in review of project contractor's proposed method statement and working procedure and verify that they are properly executed on site.
Assist QP to verify the works done and variations claimed by project contractor in their request for progress payments.
Check all drawings and specifications for discrepancies and report to the QP.
Ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner and inspect completed works and report on defects.
Assist QP to prepare site instruction to project contractor as well as list of defects of any completed works. For avoidance of doubt, he shall not issue instructions involving cost or time to project contractor.
