The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Design Manager to join our Singapore office. You will oversee the design development process, ensuring that projects meet both creative and technical standards. Working closely with the Principal Architect and multidisciplinary teams, you will help deliver high-quality outcomes in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Process Management : Lead the design development process across multiple projects, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Concept Development: Generate, develop, and review innovative design concepts, ensuring they meet client requirements, project goals, and aesthetic standards.
- Submission to Regulatory Authorities: Check documents and drawings for submission to regulatory authorities for approval.
- Documentation & BIM Oversight : Supervise the production of BIM models and drawing sets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Workflow Optimization : Implement and refine digital workflows and project management systems to improve efficiency and output.
- Client Liaison : Act as a key point of contact for clients during design development, addressing feedback and aligning expectations.
- Team Coordination : Facilitate collaboration between design, technical, and consultant teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Mentorship & Quality Assurance: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Ensure strict adherence to company design, documentation, and quality standards.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 6–8 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination.
- Proven track record in managing design workflows, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality projects.
- High proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop. Rendering skills in Lumion or Enscape are a plus.
- Solid understanding of building regulations and submission processes, ideally within the Singapore or Malaysia context.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
