Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to perform duties related to Material Receiving, Receiving Inspection, and Shipping Inspection in accordance with IFE requirements. Additional responsibilities include becoming an authorized delegate for IFE customers or Regulatory agencies when requested, supporting the IFE related warehouse activities at the facilities they are authorized to work from which would involve, processing orders utilizing SAP, Inspection and Receiving, Packing, Shipping, Stocking material and other duties assigned by a team leader.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual / mechanical inspection of materials in accordance with the design drawings and process them in accordance with procedures.
- Inspect LRUs, parts, components, cable, harnesses, sheet metal, assemblies, subassemblies, plastic parts, mechanical, electromechanical parts, raw materials and shelf life items
- Review documentation from shipping companies, Suppliers, customers.
- Comply with the Thales Quality Management System process documents and forms as well as comply with management directions.
- Act as an authorized delegate for IFE, IFE customers, Regulatory agencies when requested.
- Reconciliation of Material Handling transactions
- Maintain historical shipment data trafficking of freight movements, ensuring adherence with transit time commitments and POD's
- Assist to fulfill material requirements for warehouse activities
- Creation of export documentation in accordance and compliance with US and local regulations
- Development of continuous process improvement plans and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of using measuring equipment (Height gauge, Vernier caliper, Smartscope)
- Understand how to read design drawings (size tolerance or geometric tolerance
- Basic knowledge of SAP transactions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Willing to support overtime occasionally on evenings and/or weekends
Other Information:
- Working Location: Changi
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
- May be required to work in shifts when necessary.
- Company shuttle bus is available at designated MRT stations.
- Contract for 1 Year, Renewable based on business requirements

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage quality process cards; ensure accurate tracking and labeling of qualified and non-qualified products.
- Monitor and control process and outgoing quality in line with quality system requirements; improve first-time pass rates.
- Conduct final quality inspections of machines before dispatched from factory; document findings with photos and work orders in SharePoint.
- Use standard inspection tools (e.g., oil dipsticks, micrometers) to perform quality checks.
- Track, record, and analyze quality data using Excel and other tools.
- Ensure support and compliance with all relevant security, safety and quality regulations and standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical processing or as a front-line service engineer.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience in quality control within the machinery manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Excel and computer-based documentation.
- Experience with screw compressors is highly preferred.
Candidate with electrician's certificate and forklift license is preferred.

- Based on Singapore, fully site based

Essential Responsibilities :
+ Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
+ Perform visual & dimensional inspections, and set area management of the parts
+ Ensure proper work clearance, router/documentation/records correctness and completeness
+ Ensure all incoming conditions of the parts are properly recorded for accurate workscope determination (Incoming Inspector)
+ Ensure quality of parts meet specification requirements (Final Inspector)
+ Prevent non-conforming parts from proceeding to the next work station
+ Provide support to Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers for evaluations, audits related activities (as required)

+ Perform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasks
