About the role

What you'll be doing

1. Operate and maneuver excavators and other heavy machinery on construction sites
2. Carry out pre-operational checks and maintenance of equipment
3. Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery in accordance with industry regulations and safety standards
4. Collaborate with the construction team to complete assigned tasks on schedule
5. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and performance

What we're looking for

1. Possess valid excavator operator license, issued by Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore
2. Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in Singapore construction company, ideally for a minimum of 2 years
3. Strong knowledge of construction equipment operations and maintenance
4. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
5. Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and problem-solving skills
6. Commitment to safe work practices and a keen eye for detail

An excavator operator's job involves safely operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and load earth, rubble, and other materials at construction, mining, and landscaping sites. Key responsibilities include performing pre-operation equipment checks and maintenance, reading blueprints to understand project plans, communicating with supervisors and other workers to ensure site safety, and complying with all safety regulations

The Excavator Operator is responsible for Operating and maintaining the excavators on construction sites.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Operate the excavator machine in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily routine check, maintenance and cleanliness of the excavator in good conditions at all time
• Operate the machine in safe manner to prevent any accidents and damages of properties
• Compliance with the site and the authorities' rules and regulations
• Work closely with the team at the project sites
