About the Role:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Statistics Officer to join our team in the Statistics Unit at SingHealth.
- As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving data-informed decision-making across our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, generate actionable insights, and deliver easy-to-digest reports and strategic summaries for Senior Management and stakeholders.
- Designing and producing useful self-service data reports for organisation-wide sharing, promoting their use, and guiding users on how to interpret and use the data.
- Processing routine and ad-hoc data requests from relevant government bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Building, enhancing, and maintaining Data Warehouses (DWs).
- Collecting, organising, and maintaining useful data not captured in the DWs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in areas relating to data management, statistics or data warehouse.
- Some experience in machine learning will be an advantage.
- Proficient with at least one programming language, preferably Microsoft Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), STATA, Python and/or R.
- Proficiency with Tableau and Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) will be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, logical thinking, analytical and quantitative reasoning skills.
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate ideas clearly and write concisely.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with staff of all levels.
