Responsibilities:
- Coordination of Architectural Drawings: Coordinating and reviewing all architectural drawings, including design drawings and shop drawings. Ensure they are consistent, accurate and comply with the design intent, contract & authority compliances. Responsible for timely scheduling and issuance of design drawings and shop drawings align with project schedule and construction activities.
- Liaison with Consultants and Subcontractors: Working closely with architectural consultants/structural/M&E engineers and various subcontractors to resolve architectural and technical issues and ensure smooth integration of different disciplines.
- Statutory Approvals: Assisting in the preparation and submission of architectural drawings/ documents to relevant authorities to obtain necessary approvals such as Corenet X Gateways,Building Plan (BP), Works Permit (WP), Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CSC).
- Technical Support and Problem Solving: Providing technical support to the construction team on architectural matters, resolving design discrepancies and addressing site-related architectural issues.
- Documentation and Communication: Maintaining proper documentation of design changes, site instructions (CVIs/RFIs/SDAs) and correspondences. Attending technical meetings and Internal / External design coordination meetings to report outcomes and ensure effective communication among project stakeholders.
- Coordination of Materials and Samples: Providing technical support to construction team on the submission and approval for architectural materials, finishes and samples to ensure they meet the specified design requirements.
- Building Information Modelling (BIM) Coordination/ VR Walkthrough: Familiar with Revit/Naviswork/Enscape to coordinate architectural and consultant drawings, identify clashes and ensure consistency in construction documents.
- As-Built BIM Model/Drawings: Compiling and handing over architectural as-built BIM Model/drawings upon project completion.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Architecture or a related field.
- At least 3 years or more of experience as a Design Coordinator or Architectural Coordinator working on Design & Build condominium projects for A1 main contractors.
- Proficiency in software (ACAD/Revit/Naviswork/Enscape).
- Familiar with local authorities (URA/BCA/NEA/PUB/SCDF/LTA/Nparks) requirements.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design detailing and construction processes.
- Ability builds up good relationships with consultants, work independently and as part of a team.
