We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Familiar with Kubernetes and Nutanix) to join us
You will be working on:
- Deploy, configure, and manage on-premises Kubernetes clusters and HCI infrastructure such as OpenShift and Nutanix.
- Support day-to-day operations including platform monitoring, performance tuning, logging, capacity planning, and patch management.
- Integration with core IT services including networking, storage, identity management, and backup.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat ACM.
- Manage workloads across Kubernetes, VMs, and containers, ensuring high availability, secure and reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines, container lifecycle, and microservices architecture.
- Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of platform-level issues across environments.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on architecture, configurations, and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards, including RBAC policies, TLS configurations, and audit logging.
- Participate in platform upgrades, system migrations, and disaster recovery planning and testing.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform.
- Understanding of container orchestration, service mesh, persistent storage, and networking in Kubernetes environments.
