Key Responsibilities
• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and manage the regional product roadmap, aligning with global strategy and market needs.

The Core Payments team is looking for an Analyst, Product Management, Realtime Payments, to drive product strategy and execution for Mastercard’s Account-to-Account payment solutions (RTP & A2A Overlays). Real-time payments (RTP) are experiencing significant global growth, with 60 markets now having live RTP infrastructure. The Role

As an Analyst for our Product Management team specializing in Real Time Payment solutions, you will be responsible for the following:
• Landscape, market sizing and analysis of Mastercard data to identify pain points and opportunities for account to account payment flows and key customers
• Financial modeling / business case development for the introduction of new product features and platforms such as P&L analysis

Director, Product Management Security Solutions Organization (SSO) team is responsible for MasterCard’s safety and security related product development efforts to protect the integrity of the electronic payment system as well as ensure payments are convenient yet secure. Overview

The Director, SSO Solutions will have ownership of a portfolio of Decision Products and Solutions as part of the Regional SSO team. He / She will work closely with the markets SSO leads as well as Global SSO Product owners to determine market needs and roll out these products and solutions. The position will be responsible for the ongoing management and enhancements of these products, engage with internal and external stakeholders in their marketing and distribution.

Can you develop and articulate, to internal and external audiences including our issuer, merchant and acquirer partners, thought leadership on current fraud trends in customer needs, best practices, implications for product rollouts, and future product opportunities? Role
• Work as part of the AP SSO team to manage Decision Product suite. Devise and implement strategies for their rollout and adoption. Support the markets with adequate analysis as required to demonstrate the value of these products.
• Working closely with global teams to identify and execute product enhancements and new product constructs to drive additional revenue opportunities. These efforts include ideation, concept validation, business case development, creation of associated pricing and other market readiness activities
• Demonstrate thought-leadership, product/technology development expertise and strong project management skills in the integration of technology into new product and service solutions.
• Foster and maintain a close partnership with various stakeholders – markets, sales teams, Mastercard Advisors, account leads and key customers to gather feedback and drive ongoing product improvement and drive the successful rollout of the solutions to issuers, acquirers and merchants.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

  • Maintains global and/or regional responsibility for a complex group of commodities specific to the Semiconductor Industry, for price/value determination, product and/or service negotiations, terms and conditions, supplier relationship development, and performance.
  • Develops and executes a procurement strategy for commodity or services including competitive benchmarking, technology direction, supplier analysis, development, selection, and pricing strategy. Responsible for all product or service sourcing.
  • Participates in the Commodity Council Corporate negotiation teams or individually. Participates in the Customer Materials Commitment process through collection of materials pricing and Customer BOM analysis.
  • Acts as primary contact for site or customer support.
  • Quotes and negotiates quarterly all products or major services either regionally or globally.
  • Conducts customer bids within the response time objectives.
  • Responsible for supplier performance reviews including performance reviews, business development, and supplier awards programs.
  • Has frequent interaction and negotiation with senior executives of industry-leading multi-national companies.
  • Provides support to their internal customers to resolve quality, serviceability, and performance-related issues. Identifies the supply vs. demand for all allocated products and communicates the proportioning of these items by geography and customer.
  • Consolidates and escalates all critical shortages and resolves issues.
  • Provides product cost support for products in assigned geographies.
  • Prepares bids including generation of BOM, cost analysis, negotiate with suppliers, and present bids to management.
  • Updates material prices database, analyze bill of materials for competitiveness and customer compliance, review with management.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced Commodity Management staff.
  • Provides guidance to counterparts at the sites to ensure process compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (Commerce or Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three to six years of commodity management experience.
  • Broad knowledge of the marketplace conditions for the area of specialization including industry pricing, technology, and supply/demand trends.
  • Experienced in negotiating contracts, stocking programs, LT reductions activities, supplier development will be useful.
  • Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and the ability to learn and use multiple applications specific to this department including ERP and office systems.
  • Problem resolution, conflict management.
  • Effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Challenges status quo, adopts rational, fact-based problem resolution methodology, and implements continuous improvements.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Strong desire to learn; eager to take on dynamic challenges.
