  • Manage Monthly Reviews adherence as well as ROHCS
  • Process of progress payments and claims
  • Perform tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records for Engineering documents, with understanding in basic engineering drawings
  • Assist in preparing engineering reports and presentations as required.
  • Manage the ERM/SMM/RMM joint calendar
  • Provide support to engineering team members as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new CFD solutions in partnership with our academic and technology partners;
  • Providing CFD technical leadership to new research programs;
  • Work closely with other team members to develop OpenFOAM methods, processes and workflows;
  • Develop and implement mesh, solver and post-processing methodologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our CFD tools and workflow;
  • Support and optimise CFD tools including monitoring and resolving issues;
  • Ensure that CFD simulations and analysis carried out within the department are aligned with the capability of the commercial tools;
  • Conduct research into and analysis the energy usage of different scenarios;
  • Write reports and mapping the total energy usage;
  • Publish papers and support documentation.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferably Master in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Applied Physics from a recognized university;
  • Strong organisational and project skills;
  • Excellent team player and able to work effectively with other groups;
  • Practical experience in OpenFOAM development and/or in C++ language development in a CFD environment;
  • Good understanding of commercial CFD solvers (Fluent, 6Sigma, STAR-CCM+, etc.)
  • Experience with energy modelling or coding platforms including SketchUp, EnergyPlus, OpenStudio, TRNSYS, and Python;
  • Proven ability to work at a fast pace and to react rapidly to new information;
  • F1 experience would be advantageous but not essential;
  • Experience of Python, C++, and Unix shell scripting would be advantageous.

What you will be working on:
Develop curriculum and deliver lessons, primarily in the areas of Singapore Airworthiness Requirement Part 66 (SAR-66) M1 to M10 modules, as well as other Engineering disciplines.
Supervise students’ final year projects and internships and reach out to various stakeholders such as industry partners and universities.
Develop and conduct Continuing Education and Training (CET) lessons.
Take part in academic research projects, R&D/Implementation projects or consultancy to the industry.
Mentor and motivate students in their learning journey.

What we are looking for:

(i) hold, or have held an aircraft maintenance license (B1 and/or B2 category) issued by CAAS, or
