Role Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing individualized case management services to youth in need, including conducting orientations, conceptualizing and implementing intervention goals, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized case plans that address the unique needs of each youth;
- Collaborate with Probation Officers, Child Protection Officers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective co-case management and achieve desired outcomes;
- Develop partnerships with community organizations, schools, and employers to enhance opportunities for youth reintegration and development;
- Prepare and present cases at various forums to update stakeholders on intervention progress;
- Maintain accurate casework documentation for all case-related records;
- Liaise with Hostel Operations & Development Department to provide essential information for daily operations;
- Conduct and participate in group work sessions for residents;
- Support in ad-hoc duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent with 2 years of experience in social service sector or similar setting;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with youth, families, and stakeholders;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve desired outcomes;
- Familiarity with relevant laws and policies governing youth welfare and protection.

- Manage dormitory units and support the Case Executives in their daily tasks.
- Plan and execute engaging weekly and holiday unit bonding programs.
- Conduct regular circle times to communicate with residents and gather feedback.
- Manage residents according to individualised care plans and meet their educational needs.
- Guide residents through trauma experiences and build resilience with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure residents' safety, health, and good behaviour inside the Home and during outings.
- Monitor resident attendance, and adherence to Home structures, and prevent risky behavior.
- Report any complaints, suspicions of abuse, or self-harm to the Case Executive.
- Encourage and reward good behavior, prevent and discipline misbehavior as per Home's rules.
- Supervise the use of electronic devices, enforce locked toilet policies, and provide behavioural guidance.
Requirements:
- Experience in child-centred environments, vigilance in managing a big group of children, flexibility in decision-making, empathy with firmness in discipline, collaborative team work.
- Passion and patience for working with children, independent working ability, pleasant disposition, good interpersonal skills, strong morals and ethics.

Working Hours:
5-day work week with the schedule as follows:
Weekdays - 9am – 6pm or 1pm – 10pm. Total hours worked: 8 hours per day.
Saturdays - 9am – 5pm. Total hours worked: 7 hours per day.
Off-days - Every Sunday and another weekday off.
