Job Duties:
- Infrastructure Operations: Manage, monitor, and maintain servers, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and firewalls to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and RHEL operating systems, including system management tools and utilities.
- Performance & Capacity Management: Conduct system upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and capacity planning to support business needs.
- Backup & Recovery: Oversee backup, recovery, and replication processes to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Security Hardening & Compliance: Implement infrastructure security measures aligned with CIS benchmarks and Singapore Government standards; manage access controls and user accounts.
- Governance & Audit Support: Ensure compliance with IT governance, audit, and regulatory requirements; participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Project Implementation: Contribute to the design and deployment of new infrastructure solutions and enhancements in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Patch & Change Management: Test, stage, and deploy OS patches, firmware updates, and hardware upgrades using change management best practices.
- Hardware & Virtualization Support: Maintain enterprise-grade hardware (Dell, Cisco, FortiGate, Dell EMC) and virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenShift/Kubernetes).
- Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Maintain SOPs, infrastructure diagrams, and logs; identify opportunities for automation and reliability improvements.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years in infrastructure administration and support.
- Proficient in Windows Server, RHEL, VMware, and enterprise hardware (servers, storage, networking).
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, backup/recovery tools, and monitoring platforms (Grafana, Prometheus).
- Familiarity with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Ansible, GitLab, and related DevOps tools.
- Working understanding of incident, change, and problem management processes.
- Capable of supporting infrastructure documentation, capacity planning, and audit activities.
- Willingness to learn and support system, application, and middleware layers including configuration and troubleshooting.

As a System Engineer (AWS & Windows server 2019), you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's cloud infrastructure and on-premises Windows servers. Key responsibilities
