This role is about leading process engineering initiatives and driving integration projects across the region, related to water and wastewater applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Engineering:
- Lead process design, standardization, and optimization across engineering and operations.
- Review existing process engineering capabilities with the objective of developing and maintaining best practices, tools, templates, procedures, and process documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Lead the collaboration amongst various engineering disciplines in mechanical, electrical, automation/controls to improve existing processes and support new processes application initiatives.
- Monitor & optimize process performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement methodologies.
- Layout options for a future global Process Engineering team that may include the management and use of offshore engineering, and/or set up between multiple Engineering offices for technical process solutions.
- Provide guidance on complex process engineering challenges and ensure resolution to minimize downtime at site.
Integration Management:
- Manage engineering-related integration activities for transformation initiatives and M&A projects.
- Align engineering processes, tools, and systems across locations, ensuring seamless integration into divisional standards.
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams during integration projects.
- Identify engineering gaps and support the harmonization of practices (e.g., mathematical templates, data structures, regulatory, etc).
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with engineering managers, project managers, and regional leaders to drive alignment and adoption of processes.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineering teams on process excellence and integration.
- Report progress, risks, skill gaps and results of integration and process improvement projects to divisional leadership.
Technical & Process Expertise:
- Strong background in process engineering using different water and wastewater technologies.
- Proficiency in process solutions design, optimization, and continuous improvement tools.
- Familiarity with building or integrating technical engineering teams in complex or M&A environments.
Project & Change Management:
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to balance multiple tasks or integration initiatives.
- Experience with change management and stakeholder communication.
Analytical & Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies or engineering skills gaps and propose data-driven improvements that will drive the achievement of the organization's objectives.
- Ability to develop and track KPIs to measure success of process solutions and integration activities.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority.

• To assist with monthly sample collection for both NEA and PUB.
• To assist with unloading/loading of goods with the operation of forklift.
• Daily inspection of the system, to manage PTW (permit-to-work) system, qualified risk
assessor, to prepare ECC (energy change control) or LOTO (lock-out Tag-out) processes.
• Shall monitor the system setpoints, thresholds, and respond with corrective actions followed by
escalation of any deviation or variation through the escalation processes.
• Involved in IFM Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings.
• Work on projects whenever assigned by ES/IFM.
• Understand DI (data integrity) importance and to involve in DI Gemba weekly.
• Able to analyse and troubleshoot, draw accurate conclusions from analysis to support decision
making and makes timely decisions for the operations.
• Responsible for investigating incident reports, responding to relevant HazOp studies and
completion and follow-up of specific risk assessments.
• To review and adhere to SOP (standard operating procedures).
• Manage Adhoc disposal requested made by requestors.
• Ensure waste manifest are properly recorded and kept to be audit ready.
