Job Description

Performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. Maintains necessary files and documentation. Operates material handling equipment including forklifts, skids, pallet handlers, and hand trucks. Prepares and packs goods for shipment, loads and unloads carriers, unpacks and counts received goods, and routes materials to inspection, storage, or other destinations.

• Receive incoming goods, verify and inspect quantity and quality against delivery orders; promptly report any damages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts; assist in updating inventory records accurately in the system.
• Accurately pick, pack, and label items based on customer orders; prepare goods for delivery and organize them according to delivery schedules.
• Assist in planning drivers' schedules and coordinate delivery routes
• Communicate and coordinate with drivers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Assist in ordering stock as needed to fulfill customer orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
