The Welfare Assistant staff will be working with female residents, between the age 15 to 21, (in an institutional facility). You will be part of the Operations team and are required to work in shifts.
Role & Responsibilities
Support residents to meet their physical, emotional, psychosocial and cognitive needs through planning and coordinating recreational, educational, therapeutic programmes
Execute and run daily programmes and group work sessions for the residents
Develop and work with volunteers to co-create programmes and activities
Manage relationships and conduct volunteer interviews to assess suitability to run programmes with external vendors
Provide administrative support such as maintaining database, evaluations, volunteer management reports and programmes budget when necessary
Ensure volunteers abide with volunteers’ guidelines in MWS Volunteer Management Handbook and MSF guidelines
Work with the MWS Corporate Services Communications and Engagement department regarding volunteer management
Correspond with volunteers and potential volunteers to maintain healthy and purposeful engagement
Keep and maintain records of volunteers’ data in accordance with PDPA guidelines
Qualifications, Competencies & Experience
A Diploma or degree preferred
A creative, dynamic and proactive team player
Passionate about working with youths
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proficient in written and oral communication, especially English

Roles & Responsibilities
- Recruiting new beneficiaries (community visits, calls)
- Engaging beneficiaries (paid activities, registration renewals)
