What this job involves:
The PDS business in Singapore provides a comprehensive spectrum of services encompassing design, project management, construction, and technical advisory to occupier and investor clients, operating across diverse asset classes including office, logistics & industrial, retail, and hotel properties. This strategic leadership role reports to the Head of the Singapore Project & Development Services (PDS) business, working collaboratively with the Design Director and design team within the PDS Singapore business.
The Creative Director will serve as an integral member of the PDS Singapore senior team, working closely with other service and sector leads while interfacing across different business lines within JLL on projects and pursuits. As part of the regional PDS Design network, the Creative Director will collaborate frequently with design team leaders in other geographies across APAC, particularly with design teams in other JLL offices in the Southeast Asia hub, to support the development and improvement of design capabilities, staff and technical expertise, and to harmonize design standards across the region.
Leadership and management:
As a senior member of the PDS Singapore business and leader of the design team, the Creative Director will oversee design activities and assume responsibility for design staff under their charge. This role encompasses oversight of all aspects of internal systems, processes, and tools as they relate to design operations, maintaining responsibility for all design team members and ensuring that everyone has the resources and knowledge needed to succeed. The Creative Director will establish and maintain operational excellence while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment that drives exceptional design outcomes.
Being on top of creative design:
Creativity is at the core of this role, positioning the Creative Director as the creative design influencer in Singapore who will steer the team to develop innovative concepts, designs, and strategies that add significant value and competitive edge to projects, while continually creating, evolving, and developing JLL PDS's design standards.
The Creative Director will mentor, guide, and develop the design team to maintain a cutting edge in innovation and design, differentiating JLL's concept, design standard, and service from competitors.
This position requires an award-winning designer with demonstrated excellence and industry recognition, possessing extensive hospitality design experience across sectors with deep understanding of guest/user experience, operational requirements, and industry standards.
The role demands comprehensive expertise across mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects, spanning new construction, refurbishment (A&A), and fit-out projects, with proven capability in designing both exterior public spaces and architectural interiors, demonstrating versatility across public and private space applications and multiple asset types.

You are required to conceptualise and/or supervise junior creative staff in order to ideate, produce and implement disruptive creative that solves our clients' business problems, briefs or goals. You are also expected to maintain our company's standards of creative excellence and, within reason, profitability.

Ideation + Strategic Acumen
- Partner to Business and Strategy Leads on the business, driving best in class creative work that delivers on results.
- Driver of the creative vision and the teams' delivery of brave and effective work, provides clear creative direction on ideas so teams know how to move forward.
- Proactive in bringing new ideas / concepts on brands across industries.

Job Specifications
1. Professional
- A minimum of 8 years working experience as a creative
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience and knowledge of marketing and advertising
- Thorough and contemporary knowledge and understanding of the latest innovations, trends and developments in our industry.
2. Knowledge and Skills Required

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Mac applications
