We are seeking a skilled Virtualization Expert to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting virtualization platforms and be familiar with virtualization technologies, guest OS, and network knowledge in virtualized environments.

• Validate and monitor VM health and performance in the new alternate hypervisor environment, ensuring CPU, memory, disk usage, and network performance are optimal.
• Troubleshoot issues by investigating and resolving performance or compatibility problems that arise post-migration, including handling errors or failures during the migration process.
• Optimize system performance by working with the client's engineering team to adjust configurations for optimal performance in the alternate hypervisor, allocate resources as needed, and automate tasks such as performance monitoring and backup monitoring.
• Ensure security configurations are correctly applied post-migration, review compliance checks, and highlight any violations to the client's team.

The successful candidate will possess a diploma/degree in computer science or computer engineering, have experience with virtualization platforms, and be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for for a Virtualization Infrastructure Engineer to support and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware, Oracle/RedHat KVM, and AIX PowerVM. This role involves building, deploying, and maintaining virtual infrastructure for enterprise-level projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (AIX, KVM, VMware)
• Provision and manage VMs, including CPU/memory/disk adjustments
• Perform daily health checks and patching of hypervisors
