DESIGNATION : Media Technology Specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES
Purpose of this role:
Strategically identify, evaluate and adopt emerging industry trends, tools, technologies, equipment and systems to enhance production quality.
Ensure a seamless, efficient and reliable production pipeline by maintaining equipment and gear readiness as well as optimising post-production systems for supporting both video and audio workflows.
Scope:
- Bridge the gap between on-set production and post-production, ensuring that all technical resources are in place, functioning efficiently and aligned with the creative and operational needs for productions
- Work with Broadcast Engineering Department on equipment and systems to support camera and postproduction units

Responsibilities
Production equipment management
- Maintain and manage inventory of camera, lighting equipment, grip and audio recording equipment
- Oversee scheduling, preparation and return of gear for shoots
- Coordinate with Broadcast Engineering Department and vendors for servicing and rentals when required
Post-production systems
- Work closely with Broadcast Engineering Department to set up and maintain editing systems (hardware and software), shared storage and backup solutions
- Manage data transfer between production, video editors and audio team
- Ensure systems and equipment can support remote post-production workflows if applicable
Audio post-production support
- Maintain and troubleshoot audio suites, interfaces, microphones and plugins

- Act as first point of contact for production/post technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software (Adobe Premier, DaVinci, Pro Tools, etc) and hardware (storage, peripherals, servers)

Cross-department collaboration

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Audio Video Support Onsite Engineer to join our team and serve as an extension of the Customer's Video Network Operations Center (VNOC). The successful candidate will perform a range of technical, operational, and customer service tasks to ensure seamless AV/VC system operations and support during events and daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ticket Management: Create, update, and close tickets in the ITSM system, ensuring timely incident logging and resolution.
- Incident & Troubleshooting: Perform initial triage of low to medium severity issues, troubleshoot AV/VC equipment, and escalate high-severity incidents to the remote VNOC.
- Change & Release Management: Own and implement configuration changes, firmware upgrades, and software updates on AV/VC equipment, providing onsite support.
- Problem & Vulnerability Management: Support problem resolution by providing logs, facilitating tests, and assisting with patching and vulnerability mitigation.
- Equipment Setup & Configuration: Set up and configure AV/VC equipment for meetings, presentations, and events; ensure proper connections and functionality.
- Technical Support & Maintenance: Address technical issues promptly, perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventive inspections, including VIP/VVIP room checks.
- User Support & Training: Assist end-users with equipment operation, conduct basic troubleshooting, and provide user guidance.
