We’re looking for a Video Content Creator to craft impactful, human-centered video stories that showcase the spirit of compassion in action . From scripting to post-production, your work will give voice to transformation, kindness, and resilience across our communities and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Idea & Concept Development
• Monitor news, local culture, and Tzu Chi international updates to generate timely video concepts.
• Propose and pitch video ideas aligned with Tzu Chi’s values and mission pillars.

2. Research & Planning
• Conduct case research and interviews, collaborating with the team to shape compelling storylines.
• Draft project proposals, shooting plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate approvals, authorizations, and permissions for filming.

3. Interviewing & Production Coordination

• Conduct on-camera or off-camera interviews to capture authentic voices.
• Adapt to spontaneous field conditions; comfortable working independently or in teams.
• Support on-location execution: filming interviews, B-roll, event coverage, etc.

4. Script & Post Production
• Prepare clear scripts and editing guidelines to support the video editing.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the final video reflects the intended story and tone.

5. Cross Platform Adaptation

• Convert videos into short articles, infographics, or motion graphic content for social media and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with digital outreach team to tailor content formats and optimize based on platform analytics.

6. Review, Archiving & Compliance

• Review completed videos for quality and mission alignment; compile post-project reports with key insights.
• Maintain organized archives of interview notes, footage, and approvals; ensure all content meets branding, privacy, and ethical standards.

7. Others

• Perform additional relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor to support the team and projects.


Requirements & Qualifications

1. Degree or diploma in Journalism, Communications, Media, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome).
3. Fluent in Chinese, with working proficiency in English.
4. Proficient in video production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro).
5. Good interpersonal and interviewing skills; able to work independently on field assignments.
6. Flexibility to support weekend shoots or urgent assignments when needed.
7. Collaborative mindset and a respectful, inclusive approach to teamwork.
8. Bonus: Experience with on-camera hosting or live interviewing.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Content Creator, based in Singapore. The Video Content Creator will be responsible for producing engaging video content, including conceptualizing, filming, editing, and postproduction tasks. The role involves creating promotional videos, instructional content, and social media videos to enhance our brand presence. You will collaborate closely with the marketing and sales teams to align content with company goals.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant work experience in video and film content creation

• Video Production: Filming, Editing, Post-Production skills

• Content Creation: Conceptualizing and developing engaging video content

• Digital Marketing: Knowledge of social media platforms and video marketing strategies

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Creativity and Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and creative thinking abilities

• Degree or Diploma Studies in Film, Media, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is necessary.

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Video Content Strategist to lead our production team in adapting / localising compelling video content that drives awareness, engagement, and sales.
As the senior member of the team, you will work closely with an Art Director/Designer and a Motion Graphics Editor. You will be responsible for ensuring all video content aligns with strategic briefs, leveraging AI for insights, understanding market-specific nuances, and creating effective content strategies.
You will also oversee the review of localized content and act as a liaison with the production team to enhance future projects.
What you will be doing:

  • Content Efficacy and Alignment:
  • Ensure all adapted / localised video content answers strategic briefs efficiently while meeting the company’s objectives for driving awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Guide the creative process, providing clear leadership and vision to the team.
  • AI Utilization:
  • Leverage AI to source creative and strategic insights to inform content strategy.
  • Run AI-driven focus groups through persona or cohort creation to gather targeted insights.
  • Market Research and Understanding:
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand product nuances, visual preferences, and unique selling propositions (USPs) within each target market.
  • Stay updated with market trends to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
  • Data-Driven Strategy Formulation:
  • Develop and execute content strategies based on data secured from clients and internal research.
  • Analyse video performance data to refine and adjust strategies for greater effectiveness.
  • Content Review and Localization:
  • Oversee the translation and localization of video content, ensuring it aligns with the original strategy and the specific needs of each market.
  • Ensure all content maintains a high standard of quality and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration and Learning:
  • Liaise with the production team to share insights and learnings from video projects to enhance team performance and project outcomes.
