- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field is a minimum requirement

Job Responsibilities
The Centre Principal will work alongside our Director to lead the staff in managing operations, curriculum and professional development.
Responsibilities would include, but is not limited to:
• Overseeing Centre operations (e.g. implementing safety, health and hygiene practices, and overseeing administration and provision of meals)
• Fostering a child-safe environment (e.g. providing guidance and supervision to staff on their practices, ensuring appropriate child management practices, putting in place processes for staff to report inappropriate practices, promptly addressing any issues observed or surfaced, and reporting to ECDA, where required)
• Managing manpower resources (e.g. staff deployment to meet required staff-child ratios, staff orientation and induction)
• Driving quality programmes and services (e.g. having regular walkabouts to observe Centre’s operations, staff-children interactions and staff-parent interactions, and ensuring conducive classroom environments, delivery of quality programmes and activities that are developmentally appropriate)
• Overseeing programme and curriculum (e.g. providing guidance to staff in design and implementation of lesson plans)
• Building of stakeholder relationships and partnerships (e.g. parent engagement, and handling parents and public queries)
• Uplifting staff’s professional practice (e.g. conducting regular meetings to brief staff on policies and processes, and sharing of good practices, in-house and external training for staff’s professional and personal development
