This Vice President will play a key role within the Asset Management (AM) Marketing team,leading product and content marketing, mainly in the Third-Party Wealth (TPW) client channel across APAC ex Japan. The TPW client channel includes wealth managers, private and retail banks, and fund platforms.
The VP willpartner with investment teams to define product / asset class positioning, develop narratives, messaging strategy and execute on suite of collaterals required. They will also work across the AM Marketing team to provide inputs for product campaigns, new launches and the broader commercial objectives of the business.
The VP will also play a key role in post-event content creation.
Position Responsibilities
Marketing implementation: Execute strategic marketing plans to build awareness and affinity for AM's investment capabilities.
Product and broader asset class narrative: Craft product propositions and messaging suited for intended channel / audience (mainly TPW, institutional channels where required)
Collateral production and calendar: Develop and create marketing collateral (newsletters, presentations, premier publications, webpages etc.) in partnership with AM's design team or vendor. Map out collateral calendar to enable and maintain awareness and consideration during a designated period.
Focus funds, launches and campaigns: Work on product positioning and messaging strategy required for the go-to-market plans around focus funds, launches and campaigns and partner with regional and global marketing colleagues to execute plans
Post-conference content creation: Play a key role in post-event production of video highlights and takeaways to be used across digital channels
Measurement and reporting: Collaborate with Marketing Technology team to analyze usage for digital assets and taking active steps to optimize impact
Risk management: Maintain strict adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines for all marketing communications including proactive management of operational risk.
Team connectivity: Take an active role in the AM Marketing team, adopting a collaborative approach, sharing best practices, being involved in programs outside primary region as relevant, and contributing to the team's overall success.
Partnership and collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with other AM Marketing colleagues, Global Marketing partners, Corporate Communications, sales and investment heads, and key stakeholders across AM.
Qualifications
10+ years in a similar role within a similar leading financial institution with an outstanding track record with measurable impacts and achievements
Good working knowledge of investment concepts and has the ability to present investment views in a thoughtful and well-reasoned manner, synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story
Excellent written, influencing and presentation skills with keen attention-to-detail
In-depth knowledge of the asset management industry: clients, products, regulations, competitors
Well-developed strategic thinking with commercial awareness and business acumen
Excellent time management, and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Demonstrable track record of working effectively across matrixed, complex organizations as well as the ability to engage with partners at all levels
Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS); CFA an advantage

The Regional Marketing Specialist acts as the catalyst to drive a digital first marketing mindset, prioritizing marketing programs to deliver business growth and deepen client engagement, to build long term loyalty for Asia and UAE CG/CPC customers.
The role partners with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best marketing experience across content, brand and products. Highly developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence stakeholders and partners across multiple geographies, businesses and functions. Accountable for significant direct marketing and business outcomes and budgets and is an authoritative specialist regarding client insights, marketing strategies, trends, operations and brand within the Marketing function. Necessitates a high degree of expertise, independence and responsibility within the marketing domain.
**In this role, you're expected to:**
+ Develop Asia + UAE CG/CPC strategic marketing planning and execution by collaborating with local businesses, global marketing and senior executive teams in those markets to develop, implement and monitor digital first marketing strategic initiatives.
+ Track progress on organizational goals and marketing deliverables by ensuring alignment and accountability to build both Masterbrand and strategic sub brands.
+ Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows and organizational effectiveness through leading Regional Operational Risk Management for CG/CPC Wealth marketing in alignment with organizational transformation including control uplifts, vendor risk management, business resiliency, cross-border data etc.
+ Ensure timely completion of deliverables and remove roadblocks for project and marketing teams
+ Manage vendor and partner relationships, including third party creative and media agencies, to deliver award winning and gold standard high impact marketing programs
+ Lead and coordinate high-priority cross function and country projects, innovation, transformation to deliver against key market specific business outcomes across Singapore, HK and UAE.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability across multi-country teams and functions to build trust with high performance.
+ Be a Subject Matter Expert to senior management with deep client insights to create a conducive atmosphere for open dialogue and to incorporate new ideas that are client centric into overall business strategies
+ Accountable for customer agenda through research and competitive benchmarking via external agencies and partners.
+ Lead and execute rapid test and learn agenda using Martech and Adtech for Marketing and to establish frameworks for measuring attribution.
+ Approximately 20% travel

**As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure**
+ 12 - 15 years of experience in Marketing, Consultancy or an Agency
+ Team player with the ability to partner and negotiate with cross functional teams to successfully deliver business success.
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
+ Solid understand of digital marketing with Martech and Adtech exposure.
+ Regional (Asia & ME) experience with experience managing large and complex projects across multiple countries and time zones.
+ Strong numerical ability with understanding of financial products and services
+ Intellectually curious, proactively seeking and developing new opportunities.
+ Careful attention to detail with ability to manage priorities and multi-task.
+ Ability to think strategically and to simplify the complex.
