Job Scope
You will report directly to the Hardware Lead. Your daily schedule will include frequent interactions with a multi-disciplinary team, and you need to be equally comfortable working at sea trials and a normal desk in the office. You will need to work in Singapore.
Design and Implement overall Mechanical Systems of Autonomous Platforms: Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (HAUVs)
Design of mechanical components, mechanisms and electronics housings in CAD.
Conduct Finite Element Analysis Simulation on design components for structural integrity and stress failure assessment.
Drafting of 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly.
Assembly and testing of designed mechanical components in the workshop and testing in real world environments.
Sail out to sea for testing and evaluation of completed mechanical designs and other robotic systems.
Gather user requirements in collaboration with management team and customers.
Establish test procedures for mechanical quality control and regulatory compliance.
Desired Qualities and Skillsets
B.Eng in Engineering (Mechanical), or related experience.
0-3 years of experience in mechanical product design from concept to product delivery to customers.
Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent engineering CAD design software.
Experienced with prototyping and various manufacturing methods ranging from 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC, welding, composites etc.
Experienced with Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation modelling such as SolidWorks, ANSYS, OpenFOAM or equivalent simulation software.

- Evaluate and optimize system efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, including energy-

- Work closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable
mechanical designs that meet uptime and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the data center industry, with strong background in
mechanical design and/or commissioning.
- Proven expertise in HVAC/ACMV systems, chilled water plant design, air distribution,
and mechanical infrastructure for large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and local building codes relevant to

Prior project exposure in Singapore, Australia, India, or Japan is advantageous.
