Job Summary:
As an Interaction/UX Designer, you are responsible for creating products that enhance user experiences. You will be part of an agile team responsible for products used by the Financial Industry and MAS officers for Financial Supervision function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and conduct user research activities to understand users' goals, behavior and needs
Develop models of your users based on research findings, as well as models for other domain factors
Define context scenarios and tell stories about ideal user experiences the team wants to achieve
Describe product or system capabilities and requirements that support user's goals and tasks, and how successful interactions look like
Design the overall structure and behavior of the system, information flows and workflows
Test and refine the product through evaluative research, ensuring that the design enables to meet the users’ goals and complete their tasks
Develop a sense of empathy for people.

Propose design decisions that are desirable for users, viable for the business and feasible technically
Keen understanding of underlying technology and mediums. For example, how a web browser works and renders pixels on the screen. Knowing how to code is an additional advantage.

Preferably have experience with developing eServices for public
Proficient in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and Adobe CS (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, XD)
Education in a Design Discipline (e.g. Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications), HCI, or a related
field or equivalent practical experience

About The Role
We are looking for a skilled UX Interaction Designer to join our agile team, focusing on products used by the Financial Industry and government officers for financial supervision functions. Your role will be central to enhancing user experiences through research, design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will lead user-centered design activities, ensuring that products meet the needs and goals of users while aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead user research initiatives to gather insights into user behaviors, needs, and goals.
Develop user models and create context scenarios to illustrate ideal user experiences.
Define system capabilities that align with user goals, and design intuitive workflows and interactions.
Test and refine product designs through evaluative research and iterative improvements.
Ensure that design solutions address user needs while being technically feasible and aligned with business goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
The UI/UX Designer will join our team for a long-term contract to work on an exciting branding & website design accelerator project. This person will contribute to strategy and user experience design of Pixalate’s website, revamping existing sales collateral according to brand standards and assisting with the design of external facing research reports to drive Pixalate’s marketing and sales goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visualize and prototype website designs/intended solutions at multiple levels of fidelity, including high-level wireframes, conceptual designs, design presentations and detailed specifications.
- Design and templatize graphic content for sales & promotional collateral including pitch presentations and 1-pagers.
- Support Pixalate’s Ad Fraud & Compliance Research group with innovative designs of research report content; including enhanced data visualization and storytelling through graphic design, bring data to life in new formats applicable to social media, blogs, emails, etc.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with fellow UX team members, graphic designers, product managers, and software engineers who are geographically distributed across the globe.
- Ensure consistency in brand visuals and messaging across all materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Receive and incorporate feedback to improve designs and videos.
- Maintain organized files and assets for easy access and future use.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years or proven experience as a UI/UX designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Experience with design tools such as FIGMA, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
