Job Responsibilities:
Utilities Maintenance
Perform daily inspections of compressed air, water supply, steam supply, and chilled water systems .
- Troubleshoot and fix issues such as leaks or minor breakdowns in systems like air compressors, boilers, and chilled water units .
Equipment & Machinery
Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule.
- Carry out repair and maintenance on plant equipment including decanters, mixers, and other critical machinery.
- Perform daily greasing of essential equipment.
Support & Reporting
Assist supervisors with improvement projects and spare parts inventory checks .
- Report any equipment issues found during inspections.
- Complete daily assignments and tasks as directed
Job Requirements:
- Has min 1 year of Utilities Experience
- Able to OT when needed

Key Attributes/Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary tools, spare parts, and materials for maintenance and calibration activities.
- Identify and manage required spare parts, maintaining up-to-date pick lists.
- Obtain necessary permits for maintenance, calibration, and project work.
- Execute maintenance and calibration work orders in accordance with approved method statements and procedures.
- Supervise maintenance and calibration tasks to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
- Update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) upon completion of maintenance or calibration activities.
- Document all calibration activities and results.
- Manage spare parts inventory, including goods receipt, incoming inspection, issuance to work areas, and preparation of parts for quick repairs and improvements.
SHIFT PATTERN: 2 weeks of 12 hr Day shift followed by 2 weeks of 12 hr Night Shift

This is a full time role for a
Maintenance Technician (Utilities & Facilities)
located in
Senoko Drive . Our client is creating a new and sustainable way of supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to Singapore. The role involves supporting the QA Manager by managing and maintaining facilities in a cold chain supply environment. This includes handling the maintenance and repair of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems, building infrastructure, electrical wiring, lighting, fire safety systems, and other essential components within GMP and GHP standards. The technician plans and performs daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections for facilities and fire safety. They also coordinate with departments to address maintenance priorities, supervise contractors on-site to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements, assist with machine and PLC troubleshooting, and handle additional tasks as needed. Record-keeping and report preparation are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
NITEC/ITC/Diploma in electrical, mechatronics, civil industrial or related professional certificate on related skill.
3 year(s) of experience in the food & beverage or manufacturing industry.
Preferred hands on working experience in utilities and facilities maintenance.

We are seeking a skilled Technician to manage and maintain both utility systems and production equipment within our factory. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Certificate of Competency for Boiler Attendant (at least Class 2), with proven experience and expertise in boiler steam systems being mandatory. This role involves ensuring optimal operation, performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors and contractors.
Main duties:
Monitoring & Maintenance of Utility Systems for factory, in particular: Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP); odour Containment System with chemical scrubber; RO Water system; Chillers, Cooling tower & chilled water recirculation system; Air compressor systems; Nitrogen generation & distribution plant
Ensure the described utility systems are started & operating efficiently.
Undertake regular maintenance tasks to ensure the continuous functioning of the systems. These include:
Topping up of chemicals, e.g. in the WWTP & the chemical scrubber system, etc.
Remove residue waste e.g. flocculated sludge accumulated in the WWTP & arrange for proper disposal, change spent chemical solutions in the scrubber systems.
Perform functional checks on the systems, monitor & record key operating parameters of systems.
- Perform primary maintenance programmes on the systems.
- Identify any teething signs of malfunction, wear & tear of the components and report them to the supervisor.
- Liaise with vendors/contractors on maintenance works, initiate procurement of spare parts & necessary chemicals required for the utility systems, etc.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory to have a valid Certificate of Competency for Boiler Attendant (at least Class 2) with hands-on experience in boiler steam systems.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience in the similar industrial environment.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining plant utility systems.
