Job Description & Requirements

Assist & Report to the QA Manager with hands-on operational facilities management and maintenance works in the supply cold chain environment.

Responsibility

• Responsible for Air-con Maintenance & Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV), repair work on building & infrastructure, building services management including wiring, doors, lighting, painting, office, fire protection system and related work in a GMP and GHP environment.
• Schedule Planning and manage hands on daily facilities work, troubleshooting and repair.
• Perform Daily Facility and Fire Safety Inspection.
• Liaising with all departments concerning maintenance matters, prioritizing and action in a timely manner on planned and unplanned maintenance.
• Supervising servicing / suppliers/ contractors who are on site, to ensure that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with the contract, government regulatory requirements and Food Safety policy.
• To assist on machine troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting and repair as and when required.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior.
• Record all works, ad-hoc projects and report writing.

Requirement

• NITEC/ITC/Diploma in electrical, mechatronics, civil industrial or related professional certificate on related skill.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the food & beverage or manufacturing industry is required for this position.
• Preferred hands on working experience in utilities and facilities maintenance.

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Management Technician, Data Centre to support the day-to-day operation & maintenance facilities services operations. This role requires working shifts to ensure continuous monitoring, maintenance, and incident response for our critical facilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide 24x7 onsite support activities for data centre operations and critical facilities.
• Perform constant BMS Monitoring for all Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure Data Centre and other systems including PA system, fire safety, plumbing is in normal function (e.g. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.).
• Provide Level 1 escalation point for all onsite operational incidents. Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and ad-hoc repairs of not limited to mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment.
• Manage user requests, incidents, changes, problems, and provisioning through the web portal ticketing system.
• Ensure effective implementation of data centre safety, security, and customer support policies and procedures. Oversee security operations, including managing resources, enforcing house rules, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
• Plan and support all preventive and reactive maintenance activities with minimal disruption to data centre services.
• Prepare. update and maintain all DC related documentation (such as MOP, SOP and EOP), including reports generation where needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year experience in facilities management or a similar role.
• ITE/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Management System and Facilities Management.
• Strong experience and knowledge of data center infrastructure, including UPS, cooling tower, pump and chiller systems.
• Experience with Building Management System, mechanical (ACMV), electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work.
• Knowledge of industry standards.
• Good MS office skills and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with 12 hours rotating shift from 7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am and able to work on weekends and public holidays.

• Responsible for performing preventive maintenance on machinery used in production department.
• In charge of planning and performing tasks related to facilities, upgrading and repairing machinery and equipment.
• Responsible for troubleshooting machinery malfunctions.
• Take charge of maintaining updated records of repairs and completed preventative maintenance work.
• Responsible for identifying and purchasing critical spares for preventive maintenance.
• Responsible for identifying probable causes of potential failure of machinery & equipment and arrange for preventive repair and replacement to minimize machine downtime.
• In charge of maintain good housekeeping practices in maintenance work area and stores.
• Responsible for ensuring Compliance of in-house safety rules and procedures by all vendors
