Job DescriptionVice President, AML (Group Retail)
Responsibilities- Manage the review process of trigger reviews of GR portfolio in line with Bank's AML and regulatory policies.
- Escalate concerns relating to trigger review process and gaps.
- Manage a team to ensure trigger reviews are completed within SLA.
- Guide and manage the team to ensure high quality standards of review write-up including SOW, transaction activity reviews, trigger reasons and risk assessment.
- Provide guidance to team members on review requirements with Bank's AML/KYC policy and procedures, taking into consideration changes to Bank's policies and procedruees, regulatory developments and best practices.
- Coordinate and assist with preparation of any periodic, regular and accurate reports to management.
- To support the Bank's audit, quality review and remediation efforts.
- Work and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders for conducting trigger reviews.
- At least 8 years of direct experience in the financial industry, preferably risk, governance and compliance related functions
- Domain knowledge in AML and Sanctions (other Fin. Crime and Conduct risks are a plus)
- Strong organization skills with excellent attention to detail
- Senior stakeholder management, the ability to build constructive partnerships with diverse stakeholders and challenge where required

- Graduate Degree from a recognized university (preferably Accountancy, Banking, Economics or Law) or relevant professional qualification in financial services or audit.
- At least 3-5 years working experience in investigations and/or audit, either within the Banking Industry or in law enforcement.
- Strong investigative mindset and attention to details.
- Team player with strong inter-personal and communication skills and ability to network, engage and influence business stakeholders independently.
- Excellent written report and skilled in MS office suites.

1. End-to-end accountability and Business Engagement
- Serve as single point of contact for all business and operation needs and a liaison between the technology development, business and operation groups.

Job Requirements
Bachelors/master's degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 18 years of banking experience, including extensive expertise in payments and leading large-scale transformational programmes.
Deep understanding of the full project lifecycle, technology development models, and cross-functional operational processes. Proven ability to scope and evaluate initiatives with considerations for scalability, maintainability, cost, operations, and technology risk.
Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, with a track record of translating complex data and insights into actionable strategies that meet business objectives.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to manage divergent agendas, navigate ambiguity, and influence across all levels of the organization to drive win-win outcomes.
Strategic thinker with a passion for driving sustainable change. Demonstrated ability to mobilize networks, build bench strength, and lead teams through transformation while aligning with the broader business strategy and vision.
