- Conduct regular inspections at site, machineries, vehicles, equipments and other potential areas to identify environmental hazards that can cause harm to public health
- Lookout for signs of pollution and identify cases of environmental damage and contamination
- Develop and implement plans to control or eradicate environmental hazards
- Execute plans to reduce noise, pests control and disease vectors.
- Lookout for compliance with environmental regulations and make recommendations to improve adherence to the guidelines and regulations
- Work with other project team members for efficient management of environmental risks in the worksite
- Strong understanding of local environmental laws and regulations in order to develop and implement environmental control measures
Requirements :
1) Possess the necessary certified environmental certificates
2) Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering or other relevant fields. Minimum qualification must be a diploma
3) Able to speak and write in English for periodic reporting and communicating with various stakeholders
4) BizSafe Level 2
5) Able to start work within 2 weeks after job offer will have an added advantage

Responsibilities of WSHC
1) Report to your safety officer and update him on safety violations and lapses
2) Assist WSHO on incident/workplace investigations and ensure and enforce correction action plans
3) Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure that safe work practices are carried out in all work operations and compliant with the WSH Act requirements, standards and practices.
4) Recommend and implement continuous improvements by coordinating safety awareness trainings, programs and initiatives.
5) Perform risk assessments, safety procedures and rectify any gaps to ensure full compliance with the statutory requirements.
6) Preparation and submission of WSH reports, checklists and Permit-to-work in accordance to the statutory requirements and standards.

- Facilitate the hazard identification and Risk assessments for preparation of safety submission.
- Attend LTA's project Safety Committee Meeting (PSCM) for review of CNSS
- Maintenance of risk registers.
- Liaise with the external RMFs on hazard management
- Liaise with various government authorities and external agencies to get the necessary approval.
