This person plays a key role in overseeing and enhancing the day-to-day operations of the Group's treasury function, while providing guidance and review over tasks executed by the Shared Service Center ("SSC"). This role serves as the reviewer (not preparer) for key treasury deliverables and provides clear directives to SSC personnel, ensuring compliance with treasury policies, banking standards, and internal controls.
Supporting Manager, Treasury Operations in managing global liquidity reporting, account and signatory administration, payment governance, and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) compliance. A critical aspect of the role includes supporting the transition of transactional tasks to the Shared Service Centre and contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives. The Assistant Manager works closely with internal stakeholders, regional finance teams, and banking partners to ensure efficient, secure, and compliant treasury operations, while also supporting strategic treasury projects and governance enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Liquidity Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of weekly cash reports to ensure accuracy.
- Payment Control: Manage the payment list. Total payment transactional volume is 13,000 to 15,000 payments per annum. Ensure all accounts have sufficient cash balances before releasing payments. Ensure payments are routed to the appropriate bank signatories in accordance with internal policies. Release payment and provide payment proof.
- Transition of Transactional Tasks to Shared Service Center: Support in the transition of transactional tasks and administrative tasks (that do not require any physical engagement with Senior Management in Singapore) to Shared Service Tasks. Track the established SSC KPI and review the KPIs where necessary.
- Management of Bank Accounts: Coordinate the preparation of banks' forms, resolutions, list of account opening, closing documents required by the banks to process any account closing and opening approved by management/Board. Ensure timely execution for physical signing with bank signatories when required.
- Management of Foreign currencies cash balances: Review the surplus funds in foreign currencies report and execute FX settlement instructions (including arrangement of physical signing where required by banks).
- Bank Signatories Management: To execute the update, additional, deletion of bank signatories for PIL SG entities based on approved memo. Maintain and ensure that all bank signatories, directors and beneficial owners agreed to release personal information to the banks for compliance purposes.
- Compliance (Know-Your-Customer) Management: Review all KYC queries from banks that the group has a cash management relationship with , negotiate a standard list of KYC documents to be provided and to limit the amount of KYC documents to be provided from group companies involved, bank signatories, directors and shareholders.
- Monitoring of Transactional Fees Charged: Monitor and prompt Global Cash Management Team or Bank when there is a mischarge of transactional fees.
- Corporate Governance and Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to internal policies, process and procedures for all global liquidity matters including Fixed Deposits Policies, Physical Cash and Cheque Management, Account Opening, Closing policies, system users management etc.
- Management of Physical Cash Holdings in Singapore. To manage any physical cash holdings in Singapore. This includes review of cash insurance amount.
- Audit Confirmation: Worked with all cash management banks to ensure prompt submission of audit confirmation.
- Business Partnering and Stakeholder Engagement: To engage business partners such as overseas regional finance controllers, local finance managers, Commercial & Agency Control department, other departments.
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate bank or corporate treasury with a track record for success.
- Experience in a shipping liner company and Kyriba will be a strong advantage.

About this role in the team:
As a Treasury and Payment Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our day to day Operations. You will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of payments, liquidity management and promptly resolving any operational client inquiries, ensuring a seamless experience.
You will also be required to provide on‐call coverage for weekend work, shared among 12 analysts, typically once every couple of months. Additionally, coverage for some bank holidays will be expected, with the exact structure (compensation or time off in lieu) to be agreed upon within the team.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Payment Processing & Liquidity Management:
Process and monitor both manual and automated transactions, including deposit allocation, client payments, and return of funds.
Handle failed payments, liquidity movements, and cash flow management.
Manage offline liquidity providers and exchanges.
Maintain positive professional relationships with partner financial institutions, merchants, and internal operational teams.
Operational Support:
Assist the Merchant Support team with incoming queries.
Work closely with compliance and monitoring teams to address flagged transactions, RFI’s, and counterparties' whitelisting.
Track and resolve open payment queries, ensuring swift resolution.
Support safeguarding and reconciliation procedures related to EMI operations.
Produce KPIs on payments statistics within the business.
Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks or discrepancies.
Assist senior operations team members with various tasks or duties as needed.
Support treasury and related operational teams with counterparty risk management and ensure compliance with internal treasury policies.
Investigate and resolve payment issues, delays, and errors in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for treasury and payment processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Contribute to system optimisation initiatives to improve the efficiency of payment processing.

*Seeking for a Dealer with minimum 2 years of Banking (ALM/Liquidity management/Treasury) and has knowledge in money market products (e.g. FX, Repo and interbank cash trades)*

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the bank’s ALM/liquidity management
- Execute money market transactions to ensure smooth cash flow operations
- Give deposit/loan rates to counterparties
- Input data into system
- Perform KYC and due diligence
- Prepare relevant reports
- Any other adhoc duties
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Business Studies/Finance/Banking/Economics/Commerce or any other relevant education
- Minimum 2 years of ALM/liquidity management or Banking- Treasury operations experience
- FMRP certification preferred
- Knowledge in money market products (e.g. FX, Repo and interbank cash trades)
- Highly analytical, diligent, focused and a team player

Cash Management Settlements / Operations
We are looking for a candidate with experience in cash management and enterprise online banking backend operations, who needs to be familiar with swift messages and remittance
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations for the Cash Management department, including back-office onboarding of cash management products.
Support Cash Management initiatives by:
Drafting business requirements
Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Assisting in project coordination and system implementation
Compile and analyze data metrics related to cash management activities.
Assist in the preparation of operational and business reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant field, with hands-on exposure to back-office Cash Management operations/ Settlements
In-depth understanding of corporate internet banking services and related back-office operations.
Familiarity with SWIFT messages and remittance processes; sound knowledge of settlement principles and associated risks.
Strong team player with excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities.
Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and diligent.
Prior experience in project management or involvement in project-based initiatives is highly desirable.
