Job Description
Consumer GI Operations is a team that supports the General Insurance (GI) operations at Income. We played a key role in GI Consumer Business by supporting our stakeholders in Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Claims processing. As an Executive in Consumer GI Operations, General Insurance Claims, your key responsibilities include the following:-
- Assess and negotiate settlement of General Insurance claims within the approved delegated authority limit
- Ensure prompt, fair and reasonable claims settlement of claims
- Liase with various external service providers such as surveyors, loss adjuster or assistance company where necessary
- To be vigilant and escalate suspicious case for further investigation
- To assist supervisor in preparing and analyzing exception reports and daily productivity reports
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma holder in any field
- Candidates with insurance certifications BCP, PGI, ComGI preferred
- Have 1 to 2 years of working experience in the motor industry in a similar capacity preferred
- Have good analytical, communication and negotiation skills
