Job Description Summary
The incumbent will be task to take an active role in managing interface projects from inception to completion.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Lead a team of system interface engineers in a site environment.
- Act as primary customer contact for ISCS Interface activities.
- Lead technical sessions with Customer, External Consultants and SWCs (System Wide Contractors) to discuss System Interface issues.
- Manage and be fully responsible for the planning and schedule of interface testing with subsystems of major SWCs.
- Working closely with software development teams to drive technical development leading the delivery of ISCS software for ITC (Integrated Testing and Commissioning activities)
- Follow up on Interface Related Documents such as but not limited to ICDs, IDDs, OMPDs, etc.
- Follow up with Software Development Team for software interface related issues, etc.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in railway systems.
- Good communication and customer management skills is an advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and deliver project within tight timeline.
- Self-Management before being able to manage others is a must.
- Must be able to work as a team player as well as a team lead.

About the Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will oversee various facets of rail mobility projects within the Platform Screen Door Division (PSD). Your deep technical knowledge, combined with strong project management skills, will enable you to develop and deliver high-quality engineering solutions tailored to meet our client’s needs while upholding safety and operational standards. You will be instrumental in driving project success, offering pivotal support at each stage from conception through to execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning and execution activities, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and budgets are adhered to with precision.
Conduct comprehensive engineering and system analyses, preparing project documentation such as specifications, reports, and technical presentations that facilitate informed decision‐making.
Work collaboratively with cross‐functional teams, including design, production, installation, T&C and RMA personnel, to ensure seamless project outcomes that align with stakeholder expectations.
Contribute to project tender submissions, meticulously verifying compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.
Engage proactively with stakeholders, providing consistent updates on project status and addressing any concerns or challenges in a timely manner.
Participate in risk management processes, identifying potential issues and implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard project integrity.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure project execution aligns with engineering plans, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and efficiency in every aspect of project management, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
A degree in Engineering or a related field, alongside relevant experience in project management within the rail or transportation sector.
A robust understanding of engineering principles and best practices, particularly with respect to rail mobility systems.
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools for project analysis, modelling, and simulation, ensuring accuracy and reliability in outputs.
Excellent communication skills, with an aptitude for presenting complex technical information to diverse audiences in a clear and engaging manner.
Strong problem‐solving abilities, employing a meticulous and analytical approach to overcoming engineering challenges.

Carry out installation design and supervision of site installation works to meet authorities & customer's requirements.
To coordinate with Civil Wide Contractors and System Wide Contractors.
Supervise a team of installation sub-contractor in carrying out cable support system installation, cable laying & testing, equipment installation & termination, progress report and update as-built drawings.
Manage & Control of work progress and ensure installation works are completed within schedule, meet budget, meet quality standard and comply with MOM safety regulations.
Daily Manpower Reporting & Attend Weekly / Bi-weekly progress meeting with LTA.
Carry out site inspection & handover inspection with client.
Job Requirement
Minimum Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
1-5 years’ experience in leading a team of site engineers and sub-contractors’ skilled workers in execution large-scale electronics, electrical & mechanical installation.
Work experience in large scale project is preferred.
Willing and able to work at night for brown field project.
With installation experiences in railway industrial is preferred.
Use of AutoCAD or BIM would be an advantage.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
