Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:Partner with the Finance team to manage corporate tax compliance, including preparation and collation of data for tax filings, audits, and disputes across our operating jurisdictions.

Oversee the timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns, supported by external tax advisors.

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure business models and transactions are both tax-efficient and compliant with local regulations.

Contribute to tax planning initiatives, including localization of global tax strategies and assessment of new business models.

Conduct research and analysis on existing and proposed tax laws and regulatory changes, providing clear updates to management.

Monitor developments such as BEPS implementation and global tax registration requirements in relevant jurisdictions.

Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce tax risk across the tax compliance lifecycle.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification recognized by SCTP preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in tax roles, ideally a mix of Big 4 and in-house experience, with exposure to the tech or digital sector.

Strong working knowledge of Singapore corporate tax and indirect taxes, with experience dealing with EDB and IRAS.

Familiarity with international tax concepts including OECD guidelines, digital services tax, transfer pricing, and global minimum tax regimes.

Proven experience (at least 2 years) managing or coordinating tax compliance in jurisdictions outside of Singapore and China.

Excellent written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong plus, particularly for cross-border communications.

About the Opportunity

Based in Singapore, the Group Finance Analysis team has an opening for a Finance Analysis Manager to support the group management reporting and finance analysis function.   • Financial analysis and reporting for Management - hands-on in preparation of various deliverables to support internal financial reporting needs, including monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting, analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain and implement the budget and forecast while integrating business scenarios - accurate analysis of budget, financial trends and forecast as and when needed, including preparation of short and long-term financial forecasts and financial modelling.

What We Look For In You

    • 4-8 years of experience in accounting and finance role in global MNC companies, with minimum 3 years’ experience in a Big4 accounting firm. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • Highly meticulous and attention to detail, ability to handle volume while maintaining work efficiency and quality.
    • Self-driven and high energy individual with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work with cross-border teams with differing background
    • Skills and experience in effectively presenting complex data and analysis to stakeholders and leaders in a simplified and concise manner, using various analytical tools.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and deriving meaningful insights from data, strong analytical and conceptual skills.
    • Able to handle ambiguity and proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ability to independently manage multiple work streams involving different partners and groups.
    • Experience in various data and analytical tools, excellent Excel, Power BI and other relevant tools’ basic skills, Powerpoint, Oracle and/or other accounting systems knowledge is preferred.
