Delivery Training Consultant (Part-Time)
Rate: SGD 200/hour
Time Commitment: Approx. 8 hours/month
Mode: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to the junior data engineer on completing daily tasks
- Help with task breakdown, planning, and execution flow
- Conduct regular check-ins and remote mentoring sessions
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or technical delivery, with demonstrable experience mentoring junior engineers or interns.
- Strong ability to decompose complex data engineering tasks into manageable, executable sub-tasks, defining clear plans and timelines
- Proven ability to conduct code reviews, debugging sessions, and validate technical solutions to guide junior engineers in improving code quality, efficiency, and solution design.
- Adept at building positive mentoring relationships and maintaining team engagement in a remote/async environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate cross-timezone communication and mentoring sessions
- Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin

1) To support the Learning and Development team in the conversion of existing training modules into e-learning formats to enhance accessibility and learners' engagement:
- To adapt materials into e-learning templates or videos using designated authoring and editing tools (eg: Canva or equivalent).
- To liaise with the assistant director to clarify content or gather additional inputs as needed.
- To conduct basic formatting, editing and visual enhancement of e-learning materials to improve learners' engagement.
- To create videos and learning materials using Powerpoint, Clipchamp, Canva etc.
- To upload learning materials into Learning Management System such as Canva or other platforms such as Nearpod, MS Teams, etc.
- To perform quality checks on finalised e-learning modules to ensure accuracy, accessibility and consistency.
2) To assist in the labelling of documents dated Year 2021 onwards till-to-date, in accordance with NIEC Data Protection Governance Policy
3) To support administrative tasks related to the e-learning project, as well as ad-hoc duties within Human Resource Development, including assisting the team in organizing and preparing for HR events and staff activities.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business or Human Resource Management, with 2-3 years of relevant HR experience; fresh grads are welcomed
- Proficient in Instructional Design and Microsoft Office Applications
- Good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage timelines and work independently with minimal supervision
- Tech-savvy and resourceful; able to quickly learn and adapt to various editing or AI tools through open-source platforms (e.g: YouTube, Google)
- Prior experience in education, training or digital content development is an advantage
