Position : Trading Operations Analyst - Singapore Trading Team
Responsibilities
- Managing and monitoring all aspect of the Firm's systematic trading activities and trade operations, including strategy performance, execution, active risk exposures, margin level, trading system integrity, exchange connectivity, and market events.
- Delivering relevant market/trading data and information to internal team members.
- Assist with the Firm’s risk management process, conducting quantitative analysis to help better understand portfolio risks and provide feedback/recommendations
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to conduct quantitative research, alpha generation, statistical modeling, and backtesting/simulation to improve existing strategies and identify and implement new trading signals
- Identify market developments and provide insightful market commentary to the broader Firm
- Conduct deep-dive researches on market structure, new products, macroeconomics, and other topics.
- Closely work with the Firm's portfolio management and development teams on identifying and troubleshooting trading system technical problems, improving features of proprietary applications, and help resolve any trade issues and help handle day to day trade related task, production support and operational aspects of trading.
Requirements
- Undergraduate/graduate degree in a technical/quantitative field from a top ranked University
- This position is intended for new graduates and/or experienced candidates (1-3 years)
- Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with proficiency in probability and statistics
- Programming experience in Python and/or C++/rust is highly desirable
- Strong interest in quantitative trading, financial markets, and programming
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with immense attention to details
- A desire to continuously learn and help improve the Firm's trading processes
- Singapore citizenship / permanent residency status is required

The Role
As a Trading Operations Lead at Gauntlet, you will take ownership of critical operational infrastructure and strategy oversight across both centralized and decentralized trading markets. You’ll lead the monitoring and optimization of various decentralized trading operations while collaborating closely with quant researchers, engineers, and DeFi strategists to ensure effective risk management across our portfolios.
- Oversee live algorithmic strategies, monitor performance versus expected risk/return, and respond to real-time market disruptions with transparent decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth post-trade and quantitative performance analysis to surface trends, inefficiencies, and actionable insights.
- Partner with quantitative researchers to iterate on strategy parameters and align execution with evolving market dynamics.
- Design, implement, and scale operational workflows, controls, and automation frameworks to improve execution quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, finance, and compliance teams to ensure auditability, operational integrity, and regulatory alignment.
