Role Description

The Media Investment Manager supports the supply-side management & commercial innovation arm of Dentsu across APAC, playing a key role in the delivery of key partner trading deals and the continued growth of Dentsu’s commercial products portfolio. The Media Investment Manager supports the trading & partnerships strategy at dentsu APAC, including leading key internal & external relationships, overseeing trading operations and ensuring a smooth delivery of the strategy across markets.

  • Build strong relationships with media partners, with a view to developing trading models, bespoke trading solutions and other means of generating value for dentsu & clients.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities

You will be leading Fuel Oil Operations and will work closely with the Traders, the Finance teams, bp Shipping, and various functions across ST&S APME and will be responsible for:-
  • Ensuring all operations activities are conducted in compliance with relevant HSSE and operating standards
  • Working closely with BP Shipping to ensure then the business aligns with BP Shipping policy

Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fuel Oil Operator will work closely with traders to ensure the efficient execution of all cargo and shipping operations related to fuel oil. Responsibilities include timely and accurate communication of cargo nominations to terminals, shipowners, and counterparties, minimizing delays and ensuring alignment with contractual obligations. The role requires constant coordination with storage terminals and vessel operators to monitor loading and discharge operations, troubleshoot issues in real time, and ensure operations proceed according to plan. You will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing operational clauses in contracts based on deal recaps, ensuring all terms are aligned and executable. A strong understanding of trade finance, including Letters of Credit (LCs), invoicing, and demurrage handling, is crucial. The position also involves maintaining up-to-date operational records in internal systems to support accurate reporting and compliance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Maritime Studies, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in petroleum product operations—preferably with exposure to fuel oil or other heavy products.
