Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced C&B/Total Rewards expert with a strong focus on compensation and benefits to join our HR team at Bitdeer. This role will be responsible for designing, refining, analyzing, and managing competitive total rewards programs to attract and retain top talent in a highly competitive market globally. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compensation structures, equity programs, benefits administration, and total rewards strategies tailored to the tech and semiconductor sectors.
What you will be responsible for:
Compensation Analysis:
Conduct market benchmarking and compensation analysis to ensure competitive pay structures in the technology/semiconductor industry.
Design and administer base salary structures, incentive plans, and equity compensation (RSUs, stock options, ESPP).
Partner with HR and business leaders to conduct job evaluations, salary grading, and internal equity reviews.
Support annual merit, bonus, and long-term incentive planning cycles.
Provide compensation insights based on industry trends and best practices.
Benefits Administration:
Oversee employee benefits programs, including healthcare, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and perks tailored to the needs of tech talent.
Evaluate benefits utilization, costs, and competitiveness to optimize program effectiveness.
Collaborate with vendors and brokers to negotiate benefits offerings and drive cost efficiencies.
Lead benefits communication efforts to enhance employee engagement and understanding.
Total Rewards Strategy & Compliance:
Support the development of a holistic total rewards strategy, integrating compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
Ensure compliance with global, regional, and local labor laws regulations related to compensation and benefits.
Prepare and analyze reports related to compensation trends, pay equity, and benefits participation.
Assist with internal and external audits related to compensation, benefits, and equity plans.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with HR, Finance, and Business Leaders to align total rewards programs with talent strategy and business objectives.
Provide training and support to HR teams and managers on compensation frameworks and benefits offerings.
Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding total rewards.
How you will stand out:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
5–8 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits, preferably in a multinational or regional setting and in the technology or semiconductor industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, HRIS, and compensation benchmarking tools (e.g., Radford, Mercer, or Willis Towers Watson).
Knowledge of equity compensation, incentive structures, and semiconductor industry pay practices.
Familiarity with global compensation and benefits trends in high-tech environments.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strategic Total Rewards Leadership
Develop and execute regional total rewards strategies aligned with global HR and business goals.
Lead compensation and benefits planning for annual cycles (e.g., salary reviews, bonus programs, equity plans).
Provide strategic consultation to senior leadership on pay competitiveness, retention, and reward optimization.
Compensation & Benefits Management
Design and manage compensation structures, job grading, and benchmarking using tools like Mercer, Radford, or Aon.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of compensation frameworks, benefits design, and regulatory environments across Asia.
Experience working with global vendors and tools (e.g., Workday, SAP, Mercer surveys).
Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills.

**About the role**
The APAC Advisory Services Total Rewards team operates as a Centre of Excellence within a matrixed environment, responsible for the design and strategy of Total Rewards across APAC Advisory Services. The team partners closely with the Global Total Rewards function to localize and implement global strategies at the regional and country levels.
Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards - Advisory Services APAC, this role will support the design, development, implementation, and governance of Total Rewards policies and programs across the region.
**What you'll do**
+ Lead the design, alignment, and implementation of variable pay programs. Co-manage core Total Rewards initiatives including annual compensation reviews, global job architecture framework, salary range development, market benchmarking, survey participation, benefits programs etc.
+ Collaborate with key stakeholders and partner closely with global, regional, and country-level Rewards and People teams to manage and deliver Total Rewards projects. May be assigned project lead responsibilities for specific initiatives.
+ Contribute to the continuous improvement, harmonization, and optimization of Total Rewards policies, frameworks, processes, and practices.
