**Quality Management System Specialist Role**
The role of Quality Management System Specialist is to implement and maintain quality management standards, as well as ensure compliance with regulatory oversight. The specialist will also conduct certification audits, manage internal and external quality audits, and oversee the quality and safety of assigned workshops.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain quality management system standards, environment health and safety SOPs, and manuals.
- Evaluate and enhance compliance with regulatory requirements for standard operating procedures, quality and safety manuals, maintenance organisation expositions.
- Conduct certification audits by civil aviation authorities and liaise with assigned principal maintenance inspectors for approvals, certifications, and inspections.
- Manage internal quality audit processes, external vendor quality management system audits, and vendor qualification into approved vendor lists.
- Lead assigned audits conducted by customers.
- Oversee the quality and safety of assigned workshops.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, warranty claims.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, improving, and implementing quality and safety management procedures.
- Education: Diploma in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management systems within the aerospace industry.
- Certifications: Qualified auditor required.
