Our services provided include inbound logistics, warehouse and fulfilment and last mile delivery to the stores, customers and B2C home delivery.

Job Purpose

You will lead the Warehouse Management System team in all development, integration, alignment and change management initiatives relating to the WMS. You will be a key member to contribute towards the actualisation of our digital transformation journey in line with FairPrice Group’s 2030 vision and Supply Chain’s mult-year programme in modernising and resetting the logistics network.

Responsibilities

● Strategic lead for all WMS initiatives, system roadmap, integration with automation, digital transformation, and alignment with 2030 transformation plan and Store-Friendly Flow programs

● Develop end-user centric systems strategy for WMS and WCS integration by working closely with the Industrial Engineering and Warehouse Operations teams

● Lead the Unified WMS program aimed at harmonising the technology for all warehouses’ operation needs and standardising workflow and system flow to support omnichannel grocery business logistics operations

● Project management for end-to-end WMS design, drives the roll-out, manage the phases and track and report project status, vendor delivery and stakeholders adoption

● Provide technical expertise to ensure well designed, well tested and deployable WMS and WCS system integration through rigorous testing following the protocol and ensure strong documentation and user training

● Drive cross-functional alignment across all user groups according to the Planning and Development Team’s supply chain network design strategy, ensuring and co-developing enterprise level integration with other systems (Inventory, ERP and other applications)

● Provide leadership beyond technical expertise to serve as the bridge between end users (Operations teams) and process designers (Planning team and consultants) and develop change management plans including showcase, training and sharing of best practices

● Key personnel to represent senior management and working teams in all interfaces with tech vendors, including the assessment of credentials and work quality, management of project timeline and budget and lead multi-vendors coordination

● Lead system solutioning to ensure WMS roadmap is designed and delivered according to omnichannel business strategy needs, external business needs and vision and integration with innovation efforts such as smart glasses

● Plan BCP, disaster recovery and major incident handling SOP and put in place resource plans for first response in times of system failures and oversee internal team and external vendors in resolving downtime

● Develop a structured approach in providing regular maintenance. system health checks and ticketing response handling and improve overall data visibility for warehouse teams


Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. Professional Experience:
    • 6-9 years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Warehouse Management Software solutions, preferably the modern WMS experience (Manhattan or blue yonder)
    • Prior experience in managing and leading a team of technical specialists or analysts.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in MS SQL with experience in developing and optimizing queries and stored procedures.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems and warehouse management products is preferred.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess operational barriers and propose effective solutions.

Minimum Requirements:
10+ years of experience in digital product management, preferably in the enterprise content management space. Delivered complex and large systems in cross-functional team setups.
Experience in integration with document management systems and GenAI/LLM systems, with productization and go-to-market experience.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
