The OT Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures. This role includes assisting the surgical team, maintaining sterile conditions, ensuring and managing patient safety throughout the operation/invasive procedure.

· Prepare patients and OT environment for surgery.

· Assist surgeons during procedures by handing instruments and maintaining sterility.

· Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during surgery.

· Coordinate with the surgical team for smooth workflow.

· Maintain accurate surgical records, ensure proper documentation and compliance with OT standards.

· Follow infection control and safety protocols

· Attend to patient needs pre and post-surgery/invasive procedures

· Communicate effectively with doctors, anaesthetists, and medical staff to ensure seamless procedures

· Ad hoc duties as assigned

· Registered Nurse with valid SNB (Singapore Nursing Board) registration.

· Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.

· Minimum 2 years of working experience in an operating theatre or surgical setting.

· BCLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support) required.

· Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

· Good clinical judgment, a team player, and strong attention to detail

· Knowledge of surgical instruments, endoscopy systems and sterile procedures is an advantage

• Enhance concierge services, optimize patient experience, and promote holistic, evidence-based care.
• Demonstrates nursing competencies for fertility patient in a specialised Fertility Clinic
• Perform patient education on injection techniques
• Maintain and care for tools and supplies such the emergency trolley, oxygen tanks, medical supplies, clinic supplies, and blankets.
• Exhibits assurance and competence when preparing patients for all fertility procedures, including post treatment.
• Dispense medication
• Injection / IV cannulation / Blood taking for patients

Requirements

• At least 2 years of fertility nursing experience
• Experience in RTAC Accreditation and MOH audits is a plus

Patient Care Management

• Perform recovery room (PACU), anaesthetic and circulating nurse duties.
• Perform a variety of nursing, ophthalmic procedures and safety compliances in accordance to established guidelines, policies and procedures.
