Department Overview (Short Write-up):

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Testing Technician to join our Stage business unit. The Testing Technician will be responsible for performing various tests on precision stages to ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role is crucial in supporting the development and quality assurance of new Stage prototypes and products

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Test Execution:

• Perform mechanical, electrical, and functional tests on automotive components, assemblies, and vehicles.
• Conduct tests such as durability, safety, environmental (e.g., temperature, humidity), vibration, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure all test setups are accurate, safe, and meet the specified requirements for each test scenario.

2.Test Equipment Maintenance:

• Set up, calibrate, and maintain testing equipment and instrumentation, ensuring all tools and equipment are functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot and repair testing devices when necessary.
• Ensure that equipment is compliant with calibration and safety standards.

3.Data Collection & Analysis:

• Record test data accurately and systematically, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Analyze results to identify trends, anomalies, or potential issues, providing detailed feedback to engineers and management.
• Assist in developing test plans and protocols for new products or systems.

4.Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all testing is performed in compliance with internal standards, industry regulations, and quality guidelines (e.g., ISO, SAE, etc.).
• Support the Quality Assurance team in verifying product specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in preparing test reports for internal reviews, regulatory compliance, and customer submissions.

5.Collaboration & Support:

• Work closely with engineers, designers, and production teams to provide insights and feedback on product performance.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of issues during the testing phase.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and product quality.

6.Safety and Documentation:

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document and report any safety or technical issues encountered during testing.
• Maintain accurate records of tests performed, including results, methodologies, and deviations from standard procedures.

7.Assist in other related duties assigned by Manager as and when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Minimum O/N levels or equivalent; An associate diploma or higher in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in automotive testing, quality control, or a related technical role.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints with precision.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of manual dexterity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, often in a fixed position.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Capability to lift and move components and assemblies as needed (up to 20kg).

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a high-precision manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Willing to do night shift

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to undergo continuous training and stay updated with the latest advancements in precision assembly techniques.
• Flexibility to work overtime or shift hours if required.
• Certification in relevant areas (e.g., IPC certification for electronic assemblies) is a plus.

Job Summary:

The ECG Stress Testing Technician is responsible for performing and assisting in treadmill stress tests, ensuring accurate recording of electrocardiographic data, and supporting physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of cardiovascular conditions. The role requires attention to detail, patient care skills, and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare patients for ECG stress testing by explaining procedures, obtaining consent, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

· Conduct treadmill or pharmacological stress tests under physician supervision.

· Accurately operate and maintain ECG machines and related monitoring equipment.

· Record, monitor, and document patient vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation) during testing.

· Identify, report, and respond appropriately to abnormal patient responses or emergency situations.

· Ensure proper calibration, cleanliness, and maintenance of ECG equipment.

· Maintain patient records in accordance with confidentiality and clinic policies.

· Assist with other diagnostic cardiology procedures as required.

· Perform front desk duties: Patient registration, appointment scheduling, payment collection

· Dispensing of medication

· Handle phone calls and patient enquiries

· Assist doctor with simple procedures, dressing, ECG, nebulisation, vaccinations etc.

· Ensure accurate and prompt claims submissions to government agencies and corporate partners such as CHAS, Medisave, TPAs and etc.

· Maintain control of stock and consumables, including replenishment and housekeeping

· Ad hoc duties by the Centre Clinic Manager

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Diploma in Biomedical Science, Medical Technology or equivalent

· Minimal 2 years relevant experience

· Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

· Prior experience in ECG or cardiac diagnostic procedures is an advantage

· Good communication and patient care skills

· Ability to work well in a team and under pressure during stress test procedures

· Strong attention to detail with adherence to safety and clinical protocols

· Advantage to use CMS-Hummingbird is an advantage
