B2 Avionics Technician

• Install electrical or electronic components, assemblies and systems in aircraft.
• Lay out installation of aircraft components, following documentation such as aircraft manuals and wiring diagrams.
• Set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform functional flight tests of electrical and electronic systems.
• Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning aircraft systems according to aircraft manuals.
• Performs routine and non-routing checks on aircraft.

What role you will play in our team

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory and/or field programs necessary for the completion of projects typically under the direction of a Program Lead, or Basestock, Synthetics and Intermediate (BS&I) Tech Center Group Lead

What you will do

The key responsibilities of the Lab Technician will be:

• Support the BS&I Tech Center mission to deliver unique technical service and support to zone business partners in alignment with priorities of Basestocks, Synthetics & Intermediate Technology
• Coordinate customer sample preparations, shipments to customer address and handling of paperwork in a timely and accurate manner under the direction of the BS&I Program Lead
• Conduct laboratory and/or field programs necessary for the completion of projects typically under the direction of the BS&I Tech Center Group Lead or in consultation with the Program Lead.
• A custodian of BS&I Tech Center controls documentation and work processes typically under the direction of the BS&I Tech Center Group Lead
• There may be areas of independent responsibility such as the operation, maintenance and quality control programs for test instruments. Maintain documentation of experimental results.
• Lead smaller technical support projects in their area of expertise, including planning their own work activities to meet defined project objectives and timetables.
• Ensure and manage quality control programs, including maintaining documentation of their experimental results, equipment maintenance and calibration.

About you

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualification: Polytechnic diploma preferred.
• Work experience: None required, related relevant experience particularly in Lubricant testing would be an added advantage.
• Behavioral Skills: Proactive, collaborative, analytical, eager to learn, adaptable, responsible, communicative, and strong organization/planning skills.
• Willing to work in Jurong Island.

About Us:

The company is a leading cord blood and cord tissue banking company dedicated to “providing a choice of new medical care for new life.” In this role, you will play a vital part in the separation, processing, and storage of cord blood and umbilical cord samples, contributing to the advancement of regenerative medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the separation, processing, and storage of cord blood and umbilical cord samples according to established protocols

• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the proper and safe handling of all biological specimens

• Ensure proper labeling and tracking of specimens at all stages of processing to maintain chain of custody

• Maintain a clean, organized, and contamination-free work environment, following all established hygiene standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related scientific field

• 3-5 years of experience in hands-on experience working in a laboratory setting, specifically with biological sample processing.

• Solid understanding of basic laboratory techniques and safety protocols

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
