Job Opportunity: Test Engineer

• Duration: 12 months renewable contract
• Location: Bendemeer
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Directing and coordinating engineering activities related to product development, installation, and qualification.
2. Coordinating operational and functional phases of tests.
3. Analyzing and interpreting test data with logical troubleshooting and debugging based on interpreted test data.
4. Reviewing, coding, and debugging test scripts in Python with a constant improvement and test-driven mindset.
5. Filing issue tickets and following up with other teams to drive to resolution.
6. Preparing technical reports for use by engineering personnel.

Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Degree in Computer, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Basic working knowledge with Windows and/or Linux.
• Experience in setting up and/or debugging laptop/desktop/server systems would be an advantage.
• Knowledge in Python scripting and/or experience with basic signal/power measurement equipment is preferred.
• Experience in using PCIe/NVMe bus analyzers and Analog/Mixed Signal oscilloscopes would be beneficial.
• Comfortable working in an ESD-protected lab environment.

About the Role

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on applications, databases, systems and networks to identify security vulnerabilities, and prepare a detail report on the findings.
• Propose measures to ensure that identified vulnerabilities are addressed.
