To drive our next phase of growth in Mobile, Compute, Automotive and XR etc., we are expanding our Product Development and Test Engineering group at Test Center of Excellence (TCE) in Singapore.
The Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated power management, analog and mixed signal ASICs designed by QCT. We work with Design, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize and support QCT's products.
**Responsibilities:**
Job responsibilities for the position include first silicon debug, process experiment (split) definition, device characterization, test correlation analysis, product documentation, test limit (guardband) generation, driving failure analysis to completion, and yield variance control.
**Skills/Experience:**
+ Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process.
+ Knowledge and hands on experience with statistical analysis software package and techniques, quality and reliability testing. Wafer fabrication fundamentals are a plus.
+ Solid understanding of electronics engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal, power management circuit analysis techniques.
+ Working knowledge of Power Management and Mixed Signal IC (PMIC) measurement techniques such as line/load regulation, PSRR, transition time, power efficiency, jitter, phase noise, SNDR etc.
+ Good ASIC device level characterization skills. System level knowledge is a plus.
+ Able to work comfortably with lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Source Meters, Battery Emulators, Spectrum analyzers, etc.
+ Strong software skills for writing and debugging test codes. Competency in at least one programming language. Expertise in LabView or hands on experience with Teradyne IFlex/UltraFlex ATE is a plus.
+ Able to work independently and with good initiative to overcome technical challenges.
+ Strong verbal and written communications skills. Able to organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and remote teams.
+ Depending on years of relevant experience, candidate may be considered for senior position.
**Education Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering required.
+ Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering preferred.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Assembly & Test, Central Planning, you will be directly responsible for leading scenario planning and expansion strategy across internal and external Assembly & Test sites to support capacity growth, diversification and long-term strategy. You will develop and integrate planning models that optimize Micron’s footprint across internal factories and subcontractor partnerships (OSATs). You will lead and govern the budgeting, funding process and approvals for the entire Assembly & Test capital management, ensuring cost-effective investment decisions for optimized CAPEX management across the Assembly & Test network. You will build & drive a comprehensive site strategy framework, factoring in product roadmaps, incentive compliance, customer-specific requirements and regional risk mitigations. You will also lead initiatives to secure and optimize financial benefits from government programs and partnerships.
Other Responsibilities:
- Capacity Optimization & Space Planning – optimize space planning and improve space modelling for internal factories/sites to support current and future production needs. Lead strategic space planning initiatives, including Total Utility Maintenance (TUM) management and addressing complexities with long-lead time items.
- Scenario Planning – engage with leadership across multiple sites to ensure alignment and consistency in strategic initiatives, manage & refine scenario planning processes to address the increased complexity of operating multiple sites and a diversified Assembly & Test network
- Strategy & Risk Management – develop & implement a robust mid- and long-term risk management strategy to mitigate global supply chain uncertainties and operational challenges, ensuring the Assembly & Test network is resilient to disruptions, with contingency plans in place for key risk factors
- Cost Optimization Initiatives – identify and lead cost-saving initiatives, including capital investment strategies, loading optimization between internal and external capacity, and improving workstation fungibility to reduce capital expenditures
- Process & Systems Improvement – lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance capacity planning processes, tools, and systems. Drive initiatives to streamline workflows and improve scalability across the global network
- Team Leadership & Development – build and mentor a high-performing team that is collaborative, innovative, and focused on driving continuous improvements in capacity planning and optimization
- Champion Digital Transformation and Planning Automation – drive innovation in scenario simulations and investment modelling, presenting cases, risk analysis, scenario trade-off recommendations to executive leadership
Candidate Profile:
You must have at least a bachelor’s degree with at least 15 years of proven experience in capacity planning, operations management or strategic planning, preferably within Assembly & Test in the Semiconductor industry or high value/high volume manufacturing with at least 7 years in a people management role. You must have proven experience in scenario planning, expansion modelling, CAPEX governance and risk management within a global manufacturing network. You should possess strong analytical and decision-making skills, with expertise in capital investment strategies and deep expertise in strategic footprint planning and manufacturing network design. You must possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, especially in assembly & test is highly advantageous.
