We're looking for a freelance French-to-English translator to join us in edit sessions and assist with live translation of French interviews. You'll be working closely with the editor and producer, helping clarify meaning and ensuring the essence of the dialogue is captured in English.
Must be fluent in both French and English, and comfortable working in a post-production environment.
Hours and days are flexible.
Start date is immediate - through to November.

- Min. 3 years of production experience in a production environment, with hands-on experience of various processes of filmmaking, including creative producing and production management.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in organizational and administrative skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating production activities to meet daily and monthly manufacturing goals.
- Assisting process engineers in production line-related activities to achieve operation goals.
- Performing shift duties (12 hours) to support the production line related to chemical vapor deposition to ensure process integrity of tools for production.
- Monitoring and sustaining statistical process control to ensure quality of products meets requirements.
- Assisting new engineers on their on-the-job training by acting as their buddy.
- Obtaining data of products affected by tool faults & disposing products according to procedure within expected time.
- Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing defect and WAT data for products as per procedure.
- Providing proper and accurate pass-down of line issues, outstanding tasks, and documenting properly.
- Setting up metrology recipes in respective metrology tools of thin film area and performing regular housekeeping.
- Ensuring good housekeeping and job safety practices when working in office and fab area.
- Communicating with relevant parties during shift works and escalating in time at situations defined as per SOP.
- Maintaining good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice, and safe custody of tools, equipment, and other properties belonging to the module.
