Join our global team as a Telecommunications Lead Engineer for modern communication systems in railway infrastructures. This role participates in the complete project life cycle of system engineering, starting even at the early stages of the Bid Phase and covering later system concept up to the final validation of the system requirements of the project, by contributing to the system requirement specifications and its assignment to the different subsystems and its interfaces.
Responsibilities
Lead the local team of Engineers involved in the different projects to ensure compliance of the design with the customer requirements for both fixed and radio network solutions.
Ensure the design is technically correct, compliant, and meets the Contract scope and stakeholder business requirements.
Interface with customers in Technical Working Groups to adequately capture user/customer requirements.
Manage and coordinate solution design between Siemens units.
Support Technical Director, PMs and Contract Management in claim management.
Act as liaison between on‐shore and off‐shore engineering teams.
Continuously identify problems, perform analysis, and disseminate lessons learned to the team.
Lead the local team of Engineers to develop local competencies.

Qualifications and Skills
Hold a university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in telecommunications engineering.
Have +10 years of experience in international engineering projects.
Have +5 years experience as Telecommunications Lead Engineer or equivalent.
Experience dealing with customers at least at technical boards and forums.
Have extensive professional experience in project management of telecommunication projects involving fibre optic networks, radio systems, WiFi, CCTV, etc.
Industry background and extensive experience in railway engineering is an advantage.
Comfortable working in international project environments.
Experience in interface management.
Desirable experience and knowledge in T&C activities.
Leadership, coaching, and ability to develop others.

Job Requirements
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
