We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers, ensuring their issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform telecom product implementation, functional, interoperability, and acceptance testing (verify the required interfaces using Linux/UNIX/WINDOWS Server high level languages).
- Update and track test results, issues, and associated test frameworks in partnership with the development team.
- Define, create, and execute manual and automated tests as needed for the entire business solution.
- Identify, diagnose, report, and assist the development team in resolving defects and verifying bug fixes.
- Take ownership of technical issues and work with R&D to resolve more advanced issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with global test team members to ensure clarity on deliverables, establish QA practices, and promote knowledge transfer.
- Provide feedback to improve the testability or design of an end-to-end business solution.
- Facilitate communications between customer teams, project managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in peer reviews and inspections of requirements documents.
- Manage processes and ensure achievement of targets in time.
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematical discipline, or relevant skills, or equivalent professional experience.
- General understanding of database management systems and operating systems.
- SQL/Oracle/Linux certifications or a college project that you were involved in is considered a plus.
- Commercial experience implementing software solutions on UNIX and Linux platforms is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate with peers and management.
- Ability to interact with diverse customers in a multi-cultural environment.
- Required language: English, Chinese (need to communicate with Chinese customers and teammates, also need to talk with customers and teammates who speak English).
- Team spirit and hands-on mindset.
- Oracle (OCA) / Linux (SUSE) / Software Testing (ISTQB) or other related professional certifications.
- Knowledge of test/QA processes and methodologies, including execution and automation of tests.
- Experience in creating test environments and knowledge of performance test tools and simulators.
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems and defect management systems.
